Sunstrike smiled, her eyes shining.

Riddlekit sat outside the enterance to the nusery, his chocolate tipped tail twitching contently.

Red kit padded forward.

"Redkit, it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Redpaw. Your mentor will be Rosepetal. I hope Rosepetal will pass down all she knows on to you."
He then signalled Rosepetal to come forwards.
"Rosepetal, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have shown yourself to be Brave and Honorable. You will be the mentor of Redpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him."

Emberpaw smiled "Redpaw! Redpaw! Redpaw!"she cheered happily

Riddlekit remained silent, his differently shaded blue eyes revealing no signs of even noticing the ceremony. The young kit, hence his name, was a riddle in himself; never talking, showing emotion, or playing with other young cats his age. Releasing a soft sigh, the seal point flopped down onto the sandy ground before laying his head on his white front paws.

"Yay! Ima apprentice!" Redpaw mewed cheerfully.

Emberpaw padded over to Redpaw "Congradulations Redpaw."she meowed

"Thanks" Redpaw mewed

Riddlekit blinked blankly at the crowd, as if trying to figure out what was going on.

Sunstrike purred. "Congradulations, Redpaw!" she meowed with a brief nod to Rosepetal.
