"Sharpclaw, Stormcloud, Deerleap and Swirlpaw, will go on the hunting patrol at dawn. Jaguarfang, Rabbitfang, Dustfeather, Silversplash and Oakpaw will go on the patrol at dawn to watch our borders." Darkstar announced to all cats that would listen. "Anyone who would like to volunteer for other patrols please speak to me or Scarstorm."

"That's great. You and a few other warriors will go, I hope you all will catch much prey." Darkstar said, watching the fresh kill pile. There was just enough prey to feed the clan for a little while longer. She thought about sending two patrols out. Or maybe just one large patrol.
