  • Andy grinned and, because he couldn't help himself, he offered her a helmet. He looked slightly apologetic, but he couldn't help it. He needed her to be safe. It would make him feel better.

"You're staring," I told her, smirking as I took her hand and pulled out of the school and headed for the school. He hoped that HER parents would mind her absence.

  • My gaze dropped and I looked at the floor. A blush rose to my cheeks slightly. I should have known he would notice. Silly me for not being careful.

  • Melissa was about to say no- but what the heck? She took the helmet, slipping it on quickly before returning to her original,, comfortable position.
"Thanks." she murmured with a light chuckle.

    {Low muse, sorry!}

  • ooc: Its cool! Nice pic! The cat is cute and its funny!

ic: I laughed and reached up to brush her blushing cheek with the back of the hand that was still holding hers. "Its alright. Its cute. I'd stare at you too if I weren't driving," I admitted and turned back to the road.

Andy chuckled. "You look good," he murmured and tore off down the road. He wished he could look good in a helmet, but he just looked stupid. He was more of the rebel type anyway, which meant no helmet for him.

  • "No. I'm sorry about it." I murmur to him gently. My tone guilty and a bit bashful. My gaze stayed on the dashboard. And I held his hand which was firm and protective. I liked the feel of it.

  • Melissa smiled, letting out a little chuckle.
"Oh- thanks." she murmured, blushing slightly.
Arms firm around his waist, she grinned as they tore down the street. She felt an inner peace, almost; comfort and slight joy. This was nice... Maybe this year would be better. She'd have actual friends?

  • I chuckled and pulled her over to me, thankful we were in a truck so that this was possible. I wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her temple. "You're fine, love, don't worry about it," I told her, eyes carefully watching the road.

Andy laughed. "Well, you're welcome, love," he said, never sounding more British. He loved riding. It was his life. He road in pro games and he wondered what Melissa would think of that. Most of his girlfriends thought it was hot, but there had been one who said it wouldn't be hot when he died. He'd rolled his eyes and dumped her when she tried pushing him too hard to quit.

  • Melissa smiled, kissing his shoulder. This was the most fun she'd had in a long time- and this was the best way she knew how to thank him. She hoped he didn't take it the wrong way and freaked out on her or something.
She glanced around as they ripped down the road, grinning wide.

    {Low muse- sorry! o.o }

  • I look up at him as he says its okay. He pulls me to him and wraps an arm around my waist. I smile and then look at the road. "Malachi? Are you sure you're okay with being turned into a fallen?" I ask him quietly. This was an honest question. I only wanted to make him one if he wanted to. It was a painful deal at first. But the outcomes are great,

  • Andy felt a tingle spike down his arm and shivered, glancing back at her. A huge grin spread across his cheeks and he revved the engine, pushing the motorcycle faster. A few minutes later, they arrived back at his house and he reluctantly pulled the motorcycle to a stop. "What did ya think?" he asked, looking back at her as he waited for her to get off so that he could.

I frowned for a moment, thinking. "Kyle needs Elisa....," I began slowly. "I understand that now. More than I ever have. I would want him to do this for me, so yes; I'm sure. Besides, I want forever with you. And if that means becoming a Fallen, then that's what I'll become. But, that's only if you think you can handle me forever," I said, chuckling to myself.

  • "I know I can handle you forever. The real question is. Can you handle yourself forever?" And at this I look at him honestly. It was a tough thing to live with yourself forever. All the memories were always with you. You never forgot anything at all. And that could be hard at times.

Melissa slipped off the motorcycle, brushing her fingers through her hair.
"Just as I remember it. Amazing." she murmured, flashing a grin.
She took a few steps away, not wanting to be in the boy's way when he would get off the motorcyle. She turned her gaze to the house, smile still touching her lips.

  • I looked down at her for a moment and then looked back to the road. "You'll help me through it," I said and had total confidence in this truth. I could handle anything as long as she was here with me. Without her, then no, I wouldn't be able to handle me forever. But with her, it would be easy. She would distract me and comfort me. That's all I needed.

Andy swung his leg off the motorcycle and lost his balance a little. He took a step forward to catch himself and blinked, eyes widening a little. He had stepped right next to Melissa so now they were only inches apart and he was staring down into her stunning eyes. He swallowed hard and tried to move, but couldn't seem to manage it. He liked being close to her. He wanted to be closer.

Melissa straightened a little, looking back at Andy for a long, silent moment.
"Are you alright?" she murmured quietly after a few moments.
She was well aware of how close he was... And though she wasn't used to human contact, she didn't mind him being so near.
Her gaze traveled over Andy's features in light curiosity, but quickly returned to his eyes.

  • Andy searched her eyes for a moment, as though the answer to her question was somehow hidden inside. He swallowed hard and realized that she did have the answer. He shook his head. "No...I'm not...," he admitted.

A worried frown instantly touched Melissa's lips, and she leaned a little closer.
"What's wrong, Andy?" she asked gently.
She liked the way his name sounded, too- the way it rolled off her tongue in a purr-like way.
Deep concern, however, blocked out most of her thoughts. What was wrong?
Was he injured? In pain? Had she done or said something...?

  • Andy smiled down at her like she was missing something very obvious. In his eyes, she was missing something very obvious. "You are my problem, Mel. You are so irresistible, you're gonna make me do something crazy. I don't want to do anything crazy either, not yet. I can't afford to run you off. Heck, I won't even know what I'm missing if I run you off now," he admitted truthfully.

    Speechless. Down right speechless.
That's how Andy's words left her feeling. What on earth could she say to that?
"I-I assure you, Andy, nothing you do or say will run me off." she whispered, managing to barely find her voice.
Unless he tried to kill her- then she'd run off. But that seemed very unlikely.
Andy was different from the many humans she'd met. And she thought he was pretty cool.
Although she was afraid to say something wrong.
"If anything, I'm afraid to run YOU off." she admitted quietly, looking down shyly.

  • My gaze traveled along the road as we drove. I waited for the answer and the he said he would be able to handle it of I was there. I smiled and nodded gently. "I will be there for you." I murmur to him in the car. My gaze finding him quickly before returning to the road.

  • Andy made a disgruntled face at her, slightly annoyed. "How on earth could you ever run me of?" he asked, scoffing.

I smiled and shook my head. "Why do you do that?" I asked her. It was like she couldn't even look at me.
