Crystal tilted her head. "I'll leave if you want me too. . ." she frowned.
-
He decided to change the subject. "Wanna go hunting together," He meowed.
-
Crystal grinned cheekily. "Sure!" she purred.
-
"I know the best place with mice and everything," he answered.
-
"Sound cool!" Crystal mewed excitedly, nearly bouncing like a kit. "Let's go!" she meowed happily, waiting for him to lead the way.
-
Lightning turned his back to her and leapt straight across the small stream and streaked toward the empty forest.
-
Crystal followed the tom, carefully leaping over the stream. She dashed after him. She was a blur of sliver-grey as she bolted after him. She giggled happily.
-
He entered a huge field with little trees littering the plain.
-
Crystal grinned. "Whoa," she murmured. "It's amazing." she grinned, eyes bright.
-
Lightning ducked into the cover of some tall grass and flicked his tail, pointing at a mouse
-
Crystal followed him quietly, afraid she'd scare the mouse off.
-
nightshadow layed by a fern bush as her eyes shut open and closed.
-
He stalked up to the mouse silently.
-
Crystal hung back, staying silent.
-
She went to sleep as their mouse ran past her.
-
Then he took a deep breath and puonced swiftly, killing the mouse with a single blow to the neck with unsheathed claws.
-
Night woke up and saw the tom. "Hey! you woke me from a nice nap lightning," she mewed. "Oh well i still can go back to sleep anyways."
-
Crystal cheered before bounding over to Lightning. "Nice catch!" she purred, accidentally brushing up against him. Her face turned a bright red and she looked down, embarrassed.
-
"Thanks," he replied also turning red as he dropped the prey in front of her.
