    "Aw, look I made you blush!" he said, chuckling to himself. Her friends were hilarious. He noticed her looking at his bruise. "Like my battle scar? Won it yesterday after you left!"

    "Aww, dollface did I make you mad? I'm sorry. Well, I am going to smoke one. But shhh its against the rules!" he smirked at her. "Bye."

    Nathan sniggered. Her friends were so shocked and disdained that he was associating with one of "thier" kind. And Skylar obviously dod not appreciate his appearance in her everyday life. She shouldn't have spoken to me if she didn't want to be seen talking to me. he thought to himself.

    He was nice yesterday. Now he is like all the other boys, showing off and acting tough around others. she thought putting her tray away.

    He was suprised at himself when he realized that he didn't like Skylar being mad at him. After he finished his lunch, a bag of chips, he headed back to her table. "Can I talk to you for a second? Alone?" he said looking first at her, then at her friends.

    "Sure." Skyler stood up and walked away from her table. She stood outside of the cafeteria.

    "Look, I'm sorry I don't know why I'm being a jerk. Can you forgive me?" asked ending his apology with a smile.

    "Thanks. So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime this week" he asked her, being uncharacteristily shy.

    "Okay. Well, where do you wanna go?" he asked her, cheering to himself.

    "Okay. There is...I have no idea whats out. I don't normally pay attention...sorry. Do you wanna pick which one?" he said, kicking himself for his lack of knowledge.

    "There is this new scarry movie I wanted to see. Sinister. If you can handle it." She said teasingly.

    Nathan snorted. "I have seen much scarier things than any horror movie! I can definitely handle it!" he said indignantly, "Is tomorrow okay?"

    "Yeah." Skyler said smiling at him. "And call me sometime." She handed him a piece of paper with her number on it.

    "Okay." He said as the others start ed to leave the luncj room. "You should probably go. Or you'll be late for class. Guess I'll see you tomorrow
