Orangecry sat by the camp entrance waiting for her apprentice Bluepaw.

Bluepaw padded out of the apprentice den, her blue eyes wide with excitement and energy as she spotted her mentor. she raced over to Orangecry sitting down in front of her obediently

"Today is a special day, do you know why?" Orangecry asked, knowing that her apprentice would not know.

"no what?" she meowed hard to keep her paws still

"Today is a free choice day you can do what ever you want, but be-warned I will be watching." Orangecry said.

"really?! is it like an assessment?" she meowed cocking her head

"No, but it will give you a good idea of what the assignment will be like. Then we'll have some battle training after you free time." Orangecry said.

"ok," she meows dipping her head and heading out of camp

Orangecry waited for a few minutes then headed after Bluepaw.

Bluepaw scented the air for prey seeing a rabbit, rare in thunderclan territory and crouched. she stalked through the undergrowth and pushed off her hind legs missing the rabbit by a whisker as it hared away. she raced after it, catching up and taking it down with a claw swipe

Orangecry watched her apprentice nodding her head in approval.

willow song smeelt the air and can smell thunderclan cats she crouched under a bush

scraping prey over her prey she went back into the bushes and scented the air

Orangecry smelled another cat.

she saw two very strong cats she started to crawl slowly away

bluepaw stalked the cat then aimed to pounce on its shoulders letting out a caterwaul

Orangecry's whiskers twitched. She was amused.

willowsong then streched out her claws and skrached the cat in the sholder

bluepaw ducked and aimed to bat the cat on the head rapid times
