Penelope sat down by the water. Although she was a daughter of Hephaestus, she'd always loved the beach at night. As she sat down and watched the night sky, but then a bush rustled. "Hello?" She called. No answer. She looked into the bush, and staring back at her were two wide green eyes. Penny jumped and blinked a few times. She looked again. No eyes. I should get going, she thought, and ran back to camp.
Ironically enough, a girl appeared at camp with the same vibrant green eyes Penny had seen last night. Her name was Oakley. She had long auburn hair, and slightly tanned pale skin. She said she had been at a cruel orphanage and she had ran away after weeks of hunger and loneliness, and finally found this place. Penelope and the other Hephaestus campers let her stay, but Penny agreed just to question her. From the first moment she saw those green eyes, she couldn't trust her.
