Jager flicked his tongue as they came upon the blood. It certainly did smell like the sword in his hand. "Yeah..." He replied simply, watching as Nic became a black cat and trotted onward. He followed, curious as to why the scent was so similar to the Red Queen's. He froze when he heard Hadley's voice, then slid into the shadows of the hallway, staying out of sight as he continued to follow the assassin.

Hadley raised her small dagger with an unsteady hand as she spun around, searching for the source of the voice. Her hat had long since disappeared while she was running and her bright red hair fell wildly down her back in waves. "Come out," She said. "I have a dagger."
She pronounced dagger like decker. -
I watched Hadley. obviously, she hadn't noticed me. I smiled as a cat would, and sliced at her, giving Jager enough time to act.

"Ow," Hadley exclaimed as the cat, wearing a very Clem-like grin, slashed his claws. "Wait: Talking cat. Not Clementine. Nic?!" She kicked the cat with her booted foot, using all her strength.

Jager watched Nic for a moment before catching on to what he was trying to do. He slid out of the shadows, grinning. "That dagger isn't going to do much good against me, sweetheart." He told her as he stepped closer. He then moved very quickly, moving over behind the girl. "What do you think. Shall we allow her to live?" He asked Nic.

Hadley, deeming Jager the bigger threat, spun around to face him. "What would you want with a Hatter's daughter?" She still held onto the dagger, but her eyes were narrow with suspicion instead of wide with fear.

"nothing. unless you can tell us were Rebel Diamond went." I was human again (he can't talk in animal form, unless the animal can talk by itself.) and I went to take the sword out of Jager's hands. "you have fire."

"You gave it to me." Jager replied before looking to Hadley. "As my partner says. We need to know the location of Rebel Diamond and if you know where she is, well...It would be very wise to divulge that information." He told her.

"I don't know where she is," Hadley told them, before raising her own dagger to her throat. "But I do know that I'd rather kill myself than be another to die at the hands of you two."

I smiled. "going to die by suicide when we might nut even lay a finger on you? Brave." A thought occurred to me, and I quickly changed into a beagle again, and sniffed her pant leg. "nope. She isn't Diamond trying to disguise herself." I said as I became human again.

Jager flicked his tongue before moving back in front of Hadley. "Killing yourself would be such a waste." He told her. "We'll leave you alone...For now." He said before turning to walk away.

IC~Alice was still panicked but she heard Hadley now or was that her name? Alice was never sure but right now that wasnt important she would just call he Hadley "Hadley what's happening?!1!!" she shouted hoping she would hear her

IC: Jager grinned slightly as Hadley ran off to warn the Alice girl. The girl could run, but she couldn't hide...Not from this deadly pair. "Let's go find Diamond." Jager growled, looking to Nic.
OOC: I haven't roleplayed with you guys since last year...
As for a recap...So basically the Red Queen told Jager and Nic to go to the castle and kill Rebel Diamond, then bring Alice back to the castle. They went there and Jager flew back to the courtyards of the castle, destroying a few structures in the process. He thought he'd killed Rebel Diamond with his fire, but she had actually disappeared, however they had obtained her sword. Nic and Jager then went into the castle to look for Rebel Diamond, but ran into Hadley along the way and just finished questioning her as to the whereabouts of Diamond. Hadley just ran off to warn Alice.
