  • Misttail's breathing became shallow as she heard a rusle in the bushes, then the snow fall off of the bush. She crouched low in the snow, her dark pelt bright in the white snow surrounding her.

and shoot it through your veins.

IC;; Runningpaw tensed as she saw the two cats look in her direction. She stumbled forward, pushing through the bush and narrowing her eyes at the bigger warrior that stood before her, letting out a small growl. Staggering another step forward, her glazed over gaze resting on the kit, she sighed out of exhaustion and lowered her head, swaying ever so slightly on her shaky legs.

OOC;; sorry for my inactiveness! I had choir stuff to do

  • Misttail sheathed her claws and stood up. Obviously, this was a overtired, lost apprentice, and no danger what-so-ever. Misttail took a step forward, her paw sinking deep into the snow. "Are you okay?" she mewed gently.

IC;; Runningpaw gave a shaky nod, her tail skimming the top of the blanket of snow. She blinked slowly before sitting down in the snow with a yawn, her mind still not working correctly. Stifling w yawn, her glazed gaze fixed itself into the snow in front of her.

  • Moonkit padded to Misttail's side, taking in the apprentice. The first thing to catch her attention was the wrapping of cobwebs that concealed parts of her leg and face. "Why do you have those cobwebs?" she blurted. "Are you hurt?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor= HEX CODE; bordercolor= #999999; border-top: 0px transparent; border-bottom: 0px transparent; border-radius: 15px; border-right: dotted 3px #999999; border-left: dotted 3px #999999;]

IC;; Runningpaw gave a small nod. "...badger...." was all that she managed to say before her surroundings became fuzzy, and the ground seemed to shift beneath her paws.

  • Moonkit gasped as Runningwind began to sway as though about to pass out. "She must've lost a lot of blood!" she cried out as she ran to Runningwind's side. "Just lie down," she mewed to Runningwind, touching noses with her in a gesture of peace.

IC;; Runningpaw looked down at the kit and blinked, processing what she had said. Then she subconsciously lay herself down in the snow and rested her head on her paws, looking up at the two cats through drooping, dandelion yellow eyes.

  • Moonkit's shocked pupils nearly filled her entire eye as she tried to decide what to do next. Once she had seen a medicine cat treat a kit in the middle of the nursery, but that was all the experience she had. She sprinted up to Misttail, fur bristled in fear. "We should find a place where she can rest." she said urgently.

  • Misttail ran into the bushes, leaping over logs and bushes. When she came back, she was out of breath . Misttail dropped herbs and cobwebs she had found by the apprentice, then dropped into the snow.

IC;; Runningpaw watched the warrior, too exhausted to say anything. She glanced over at the medicine supplies, at the kit, then back at the warrior. The snow around had begun to seep through the cobwebs and numb the pain in her wounds, and she let her eyes close for a moment.

  • Moonkit stood a safe distance away, but craned her neck as Misttail mended the apprentice's wounds, watching with interest. The badger had badly gored her, but Misttail's movements seemed calm and collected. Moonkit dragged herself out of her embarassing stupor of awe and stood ready to take orders from Misttail.

  • Misttail finishd, then sat back wth sigh. "Moonkit, on the other side of the clearing, behind a marked tree is a dead vole. Can you please bring it here for this poor apprentice?" she blinked slowly.

  • Solarpelt placed some herbs by the vole secretly and rushed off. About half his clan would kill him for helping the outcasts.

  • Moonkit nodded quickly and dashed across the clearing. The scent marking on a particular tree caught her attention, and she padded to the opposite side. The vole sat motionless in the snow. But with it were a small bundle of herbs and a faint but familiar scent. But Moonkit had no time to dwell over that. She scooped up the herbs and vole in one mouthful and sprinted back to Misttail and the apprentice. She dropped the vole and herbs before Misttail. "What are those herbs?" she asked, unaware that she hadn't placed them.

  • Misttail tore a few bites off the vole and placed them next to the apprentice gently. When she turned around and saw the herbs, she bn down and sniffed them cautiously. Misttail looked up to where the vole was befoe Moonkit had picked it up. She lpt over to theplace and siffed it, then looked around quickly. She heard a rustle a few tail-lengths away and rushd after it, curious to see what or who it was.

  • Solarpelt leaped over a stream and up a tree on the way back to camp. He followed a path through the branches and ducked into his clan's home.

IC;; The smell of vole aroused Runningpaw, and she slowly blinked her eyes open. Her dandelion-yellow eyes fell on the prey and she glanced at the other cats before gratefully stretching forward to take a bite.
