Venomkit padded into the medicine den. He plunked his blue lynx point butt on the ground and watched as cats streamed in and out of the den. He grinned at the thought of battered Bloodclanners going in, and healing killing machines coming out. Though this oath thing was stupid, he himself had yet to kill a cat. But knowing that the medicine cats could heal a Bloodclanner so that they could kill more wimpy clanners made him think that it was just as satisfying as killing a clanner with their own paws. Though he liked the thoughts that he has, he could never approach a medicine cat on his own. He felt like he wasn't good enough for them or something. But maybe he could talk to one of the patients to see how they were doing.
I'll brighten your day! [med cats, and Bloodclan patients]

"Hello. How may I help you?" One of the BloodClan medicine cats padded forward, noticing that a blue lynx point has seated himself down to watch the passing patients and cats. There was plenty of cats to treat now that both WindClan and HawkClan resided here, so generally it was rather busy. Crystallinevision stayed standing, watching Venomkit with a faint smile on her maw.
-
Venomkit shrank down a little. "Oh, hey, Crystallinevision. I was just uh..." he looked around, trying to find an excuse. But not finding one, he turned back the the Bloodclan Medicine Cat. "It sure is busy, here," he grunted. "I just thought that it'd be a little stressful to take on so many patients, and clanners, too." He couldn't help the acid in his voice as he said clanners. "But I don't want to distract you from someone who needs your help, so I was just thinking that I could talk to you while you worked, but you don't even have to listen if you don't want to. I mean, you'd probably have to focus on cleaning the wounds, and prescribing the right herbs, anyways. But I just guess that I'm as bored as you are busy. I mean, I don't want to trip your paws. Heck no! I just was hoping that I could watch silently, or something. I mean, I don't mean to be a bother or anything, and I realize that I'm rambling on again. Sorry," he said rather quickly. He sounded like an idiot as he talked to Crystallinevision, and he flattened his ears in annoyance. Why did he have to be such a screw-up? He would probably just bug the med cats, and their apprentice anyways, so why was he here?
-
Crystallinevision sat down as the heard Venomkit begin to talk in a rambling and ongoing way. Relaxing on her haunches, the medicine cat continued to listen to the younger, and a small smile appeared on her maw. "It's no problem. I've got a little free time at the moment, so it's all good." The dark brown tabby mewed placidly and calmly; her normal behaviour.

I hope you don't mind some cheesy jokes.

Venomkit blinked. "Really? Oh, wow. Well, then, I just have some corny jokes to cheer you up if you're feeling a little stressed out. Did you want to hear them?" He was no good at telling jokes, and all of these jokes he had stolen from a crow that cawed a bunch of nonsense before he killed it. But no one had to know that part. Venomkit himself grinned at the jokes, though some might be a little childish. Would they make an adult laugh? He had no idea.
-
"I'd love that . . . " The slightly bulky kitten poked his head into the den and made his way in with a cool smirk on his face. "Are you any good at telling jokes?" Niklaus questioned with narrowed eyes. The fawn tabby scampered up to his mother and attempted to nuzzle her leg, "Hi, Mum!" Bright blue eyes that matched Crystallinevision's stared upwards.
"Let's hear them." Nik chirped, looking back to Genomkit with a crooked grin on his round kitten face.
-
Crystallinevision continued to stay seated, nodding her head with a faint smile on her maw. It seemed like Venomkit was interested in sharing these supposedly low-quality and trite jokes, so the medicine cat decided to listen. She would enjoy them anyway, considering that she just always enjoyed chatting with her patients, especially when they were kitten-aged. Backstab and her had their own kits as well; the brown tabby loved and adored them all so dearly and whole-heartedly. She also enjoyed the company of her son Niklaus, who seemed to come visit often. And here he was now! Crystallinevision tried to nuzzle the fawn tabby back on the head, mewing out a greeting. "Hey Nik!"
-
Venomkit nodded as the Medicine Cat's son, and Crystallinevision herself wanted to hear his jokes. He grinned, but felt a little cheesy all the same. "So there's this thing called a pirate ship. It sailed the seas, and its cargo was black paint and red paint. What happened to it?" he asked the two of them.
-
The kit grinned as he felt his brown tabby mother nuzzle his head. He knew he had the greatest family in all of BloodClan; many others had it hard, but Nik knew that he was loved by his parents and his parents loved him back. Swiping his tail over his paws, the fawn tabby grinned towards Venomkit before speaking, "I have no idea in hell." It was hardly surprising that little Klaus spoke this way, since he lived in BloodClan and virtually eveybody snuck in an unnecessary curse here and there. It wasn't meant in a harsh way at all, and as Nik continued, it became obvious that he was trying to humor Venomkit, who seemed like a beginner at telling jokes. "What happened to the pirate ship?" Aqua eyes widened expectantly, and the kitten awaited the rest of the joke alongside his mother.
One thing that both Crystallinevision and Nik shared was excellent listening, although for Nik it depended - of the story didn't hold his attention, he was about as good at listening as a deaf snake.

"It got marooned!" he grinned, and paused. There may or may not have been laughter that followed, so he waited to see what would happen. It would probably determine if he should change his tactics or not.
