Alistar stretched his muscles and walked into the woods. His brown eyes searched for something yet he wasn't sure what. He sighed and laid by a stream not noticing the lone female farther down stream.

Dakota heard the howl, he stood up and ran out of the den. He continued running until he got to as stream where he stopped and replied to the females howl.

Jera watched the stream go by. It was nice to see it, so free to go.... not ever bothered.. she wished that could be her.

Ooc: There's a separate thread for the sign up, the link is on the first page and there is already a beta.

Ic: Dakota waited for a reply, it didn't come. The she-wolf must have been in trouble but it was too late now, he couldn't do anything to help.

Jera stood up and loped through the forest, until the wolf found a grassy area to lie in. Rolling onto her back, the wolf watched the sky in that position, mind still active.

Dakota began to wonder back to the pack thinking of Talana 'Do they just want power or do they actually love her?' then he began to think about all the other females, how were they to get a mate of all the males liked Talana?

Jera caught a scent, of a male wolf. Her spirit rose in an instant. It was him! She stood and bolted down river toward the scent

Dakota continued walking along the edge of the river towards the pack 'Why?' He repeated the question in his head a few times before he gave up and collapsed on the cold, dusty ground next to the river. He gave out a little grunt as his stomach hit the ground then lay there, thinking.

Ooc: Your charrie is lost and everyone is asleep or at the river, sorry if we were ignoring you before though.

Jera found him lying there on the ground. She settle silently in the bushes and stayed quiet to watch for a few moments

Ooc: You just have to make your charrie bolder, this always happened to me when I started RPing then I discovered that you just have to be 'louder' ;)

Ic: Dakota could have sworn he had heard something in the bushes but he ignored it, probably just a rabbit or something, he sighed and began thinking about an old 'friend'.

Jera observed her unaware prey. Alistar, the packs new beta, and her former, well still, crush. The wolf knew that he liked the alpha wolf, but that didn't stop her. She wouldn't give him up that easily. He had always seemed like a respectful and respectable wolf, and as such had earned her affection.

Dakota lay there, he noticed a large male wolf a bit further down stream. He stood up and stalked into the trees, he wanted to see if the wolf was from the pack, he wandered along silently until he got to some bushes where he tripped over something large and fluffy.

Alistar eventually woke up still a little troubled his eyes were glimmering as they usually are. 'Was it right for him to take this important role when there is one wolf that hates him for proving himself? Is that wrong? Did I do wrong?' he thought silently. His gaze flickered around he was a little upset he gave up on Jera's departing so easily. "I would have liked if she would have stayed." he murmured half to himself.
