    "I'm trying to help her. I'm the medicine cat." Dragonsong snarled. She grabbed Spiritpaw and took her back to the cave, where she blocked off every entrance. Dragonsong now looked like an elder, and she shakily applied herbs to Spiritpaw's wounds.

    Dragonsong dipped her head slowly, her pelt losing more of it's color by the minute. She slowly and shakily worked at the wounds, despite her rapid aging.

    "Just swell." Dragonsong responded in a raspy, almost inaudible voice. She applied the last of the medicines before collapsing.

    leopardpaw was about to say more to squirrelpaw, but a sudden rustle behind her caught her attention, in what seemed like an instant, leopardpaw whirled around, facing the two charging badgers. she saw one was one she had scared off earlier when she wounded it. the one who wasn't hurt hurled itself against her. she landed on the ground with a thud, but she rolled quickly to the right just before the badger pinned it's long thick claws into the ground below her, the badger struck again, this time barely missing her neck. her eyes widened a moment, and then as if in slow motion, she struck the badger hard on it's underbelly with her hind legs, and sent it tumbling backwards. she finally cut off it's life vain, she looked around for the other badger and had just enough time to shout, "squirrelpaw, behind you!"

    IC~ Moonstar whirled around quickly. She instinctively un-sheathed her claws and dug them into the badger's neck, raking them down its neck. The badger's eyes glazed with fear and suprise, it fell backwards. Blood poured from the badger's neck.

    Flint appeared in his dragon form. He was a hulking black beast with bright red eyes and a twisted grin revealing dagger like teeth. He picked up Dragonsong's limp body and disappeared down one of the cave's tunnels.

    Flint took Dragonsong down a tunnel, one that Spiritpaw would be able to see them. He smiled and threw Dragonsong's body into a pit of lava before disappearing.
