Her grey-brown pelt stuck out like a sore thumb between the trees and leafless bushes, but the grey wolf was not trying to hide her presence. She had already filled her belly with cat and was now looking only for a place to crash for the night, despite the heavy cat scent here [strongly indicating another cat pride] this place seemed as good as any. Even if it was a bit to close to human settlements, surely cats wouldn't settle here if humans visited often. So it was likely safe to spend just one night.
Giving a little snort of decision Legira rolled her shoulders, amber eyes searching the grounds for either a fern bush or perhaps a rabbit borrow she could dig into. Preferably the latter.
There was the sound of breaking twigs behind her. Instinct made her freeze, lips curling and a deep growl forming in her throat. As was with any dominate wolf, lone or otherwise, she rose her tail. Turning with erect ears to face the noise. She was quickly put at easy however, it was not another dog. Just a cat. Weather it had seen or heard her however wasn't her problem, the thing was likely to stay clear of her and her kind. Huffing in irritation she continued on her way, not having to go far before finding just what she wanted. A rabbit hole. Sniffing about the entrance, finding the scents stale, Ira put her paws to work with enlarging the den.
