• Claykit blinked at Sugarkit, shuffling her paws uneasily. She didn't like to be the center of attention, espicially like .. this. She shifted her weight to the left, almost wanting to leave but failing to do so. Tempestkit urged her onward, and she wanted to make him happy, cause he wasn't very often. She wasn't normally shy, just about ever, but she felt claustrophobic and overwhelmed by all the mixed emotions coming in large waves towards her. She couldn't stop it thought. Snapping back into reality, the cream ticked tabby opened her maw to say an obvious 'no' but was interrupted by Ryupaw and Yellowbrickkit. Was it her fault that they were angry? She could easily tell they were trying to hide it, and it made her feel angry too, at herself. But why. It wasn't her fault, right? She didn't know nor did she want too. Deciding not to say anything, her mis-matched aqua and orange orbs looked down to her paws where they stared for about a couple minutes before back up to the Medicine Cats. She didn't care what anyone said anymore! No, no, no. Not anymore.

  • A light, disapproving frown appeared on the fluffy white kitten's face, twitching her ears as her upset blue gaze danced to Ryupaw. "Don't say that." She returned her gaze to Yellowbrickkit, smiling warmly. "It is. Don't worry." Sugarkit's light blue eyes swam to a flash of tortie fur in the room and she smiled. "You can come over here," she said gently, flicking her puffy tail in a gesture to come closer.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; border-right: 1px dotted indigo; color: transparent;][sub]The little black and white tom arched his back, tail flicking. Complicatedkit yawned slightly, being a bit anti-social. He watched the other kits with a small smile. They could make friends. While he couldn't, having split personalities that could switch at any time.

  • Grinning, the tortie point slithered through the gathered kittens until she reached Sugarkit's side. "Thanks." The she-kit mumbled, blinking her eyes up to the unfamiliar face. It was nice to feel welcome. That was one of the things Skinnykit strived for and worried about the most.

"What's your name?" The squeaky voice of the tortie point could be considered annoying, but it held a childish ring, "I'm Skinnykit." She herself found the name somewhat pathetic, but she didn't feel a huge need to change it. The name had been given to her and the way Skinnykit saw it, she couldn't deny the gift that had been given to her. Even if she didn't absolutely love it.

  • [b]Yellowbrickkit

The she-kit sighed, looking down as she shuffled her paws.
Maybe this is why she didint get along with real people so well. Maybe she wasint fit for this.
Nerves clawed at her stomache, wishing her pretend friends could comfort her now.
And she began to hum something along the tune of Somewhere Over the Rainbow
To comfort herself and anyone else who needed it.

  • ooc. whenever i look at that name, i think the warrior name will be skinnylove xD
    i love that song asdfghjk

    ic.

The fluffy white she-kitten flicked her tail lightly, blinking her blue eyes warmly at the tortie point kitten, noticing their eyes were the same shade of blue. She smiled at the thought, giving a dreamy sigh before flicking her gaze back to the younger kitten. "No worries," the she-cat purred polietely. Sugarkit always took other's under her wing -- er, or her fluffy coat. Smiling, she nodded quickly in reassurance that she could stay. It was a group training, after all.

Smiling lightly, she gazed with her blue eyes thoughtfully for a moment into Skinnykit's. "That's a pretty name," she said half to herself, but she wasn't lying. It had a lovely ring to it that just warmed her up. "My name's Sugarkit." She chuckled because of why she was named that. She just looked like a spoon full of the sweet substance, with her pure white fur sticking out on all angles.

Savingkit sneezed as he made his way through the massive amount of cat bodies that were all crammed in the area. "Excuse me!" He whined, trying to get through. "Ow!" He yelped as a cat accidently stepped on his tail. "That hurt!"

  • "Excellent all of you! Marigold is indeed a cleanser! It helps clean wounds to get rid of light infection and it increases the rate in healing" Salixtwist mewed with a happy purr. Her large eyes glowed with a friendly light and she prepared for the next question.

"Where and how does one collect cobwebs properly? What can they be used for?" the medicine cat quizzed the kits.

  • Yellowbrickkit

Yellowbrickkit perked up. She knew this one!
[b]"Thats easy! It's best used to stop heavy bleeding. Can it also bind some wounds?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; border-right: 1px dotted indigo; border-left: 1px dotted indigo; color: black;]Complicatedkit flicked his tail once more, tipping his head to the side. "Don't you wrap the cobwebs around your paw, or something? Maybe your ear? ..." The tom looked down at his paws. "I know that it stops or slows down bleeding if you press down on it the right way..."

  • Nodding her agreement with Yellowbrickkit, Claykit raced up to the front near Salixtwist. 'You can find them in bushes, like, just about anywhere, and they stop bleeding and stuff!' The ticked tabby purred. Easy!

    --

Squirming himself up front, the white and orange tom sat up straight and perked his ears. He had heard of some kind of gathering for kits and apprentices. The young kitten sniffed and couldnt smell anything. "Dumb cold" he muttered, before sneezing again, sending a few stray herb leaves flying a couple mouse tails away. "oops! im sorry!" he squeaked.

  • Hollandkit knew what cobwebs did, but how to collect them properly, she wasn't sure. The grey and white tabby didn't want to be all pushy for answering quickly, and she did agree with Sugarkit, that it wasn't a contest, but they all had a right to guess their opinion didn't they? Hollandkit cleared her throat, feeling slightly embarassed because she wasn't exactly sure how to answer. "Well, like Yellowbrickkit said, cobwebs do stop heavy bleeding, and I've seen some get put onto wounds after the paste was put on," she said quietly, feeling a little shy. What if they got mad at her now? "I- erm, I'm not sure how to collect them though. Maybe wrap it around your paw and then paste it onto a wound?" she suggested uncomfortably.

  • Yellowbrickkit

Yellowbrick smiled as she looked to Claykit -- glad she was right
[b]"They're pretty common to find too. Spiders make them, I believe."

She remembered when she and her imaginary Ozian friends found a spiderweb.
Lion was too scared to look at it, but she found it fascinating. They were pretty to look at!

  • "Nice to meet you Sugarkit." Skinnykit's eyes narrowed as a grin spread across her narrow face. She purred loudly, happy that she was beginning to make a friend and she had just stepped into the den. The she-kit jumped abruptly as she heard a sharp shout from Savingkit. Trying to collect herself, the slightly awkward Skinnykit groomed down her bristling fur frantically before turning to the sound of Salixtwist's warm voice.

She was doubtful she had the answer, but then again, she was always doubtful. She decided to give it a try, and flicking her tail shyly, Skinnykit's quiet voice rang through the air, "You collect cobwebs by wrapping them around your paw, right?" The feeling of blood boiling under her skin made her want to faint, but she wondered outloud, "But I don't know how you'd get the cobwebs off of your paw." The tortie point grinned sheepishly and hunched her shoulders.

"Cobwebs are sticky" Savingkit meowed, speaking up among the much bigger cats. They all knew so much! "Whats that stuff... That stops infection?"

"They're super sticky, but you can collect them by sticking a paw in and letting them stick. You can put on stuff like marigold underneath it, too!" Bohemiankit grinned proudly. Nobody had noticed that little fact![/fancypost]
  • "Can you show us how to take a cobweb from a spider?" asked Carlykit with curiosity, perking her ears as she let the others answer. She knew about cobwebs already, but did not know how to take them.

  • Yellowbrickkit

Yellowbrickkit giggled, gently flicking her tail to Savingkit
[b]"Nooooo silly. Cobwebs are for bleeding wounds."

It wasint a mean tease, rather her being sweet to the younger kit.
She liked cats younger than her. They had endless innocence.

"Do you just put it on the wound?" He asked, glancing up at Yellowbrickkit. "What happens if there is so much blood and stuff that the cobwebs dont work!"
