Leaf kit snuggled next to her sister. With her big green eyes, she looked at her sister's gray pelt. Hmm i wonder what i look like she thought. she scrambled over to a frozen puddle and looked at her reflection.

Leaf kit woke up to see it a warmer day then yesterday. YES she thought, I'll get to play this day. She went out of the nursery. She found a moss ball, and began tossing it around.

He ran out after her, his blue eyes flashing with happiness as he felt the warm air against his fur.

"Catch it, Catch it!" she yelled at him, throwing it at him.

The gray kit jumped in the air and hit the moss ball back at her, not catching it, but close.

Bubblekit followed them out and sat by the nursery entrance watching her brother and sister play.

"Come on Bubble kit!" Leaf kit meowed, hitting the ball toward frost kit again.

This time, Frostkit hit it to Bubblekit.

Bubblekit jumped as Frostkit tossed the ball to her. She quickly picked up a paw and tossed his back to them.

Leafkit saw something that caught her eye. "Hey look, its a- what is that?" she asked, looking at a bean with 8 long legs ( spider ).
