• Aster held his head strong as he padded outside of the den. His den, it was now. Today . . . ok yeah today he would prove to some of his clanmates he was more than a shy heap of fur. And it was important to make sure everyone knew the basics, right?

He dropped the stack of herbs at his feet and scanned the clearing. Soon his paws began kneading the ground and he had to stand up. Sure it was . . . a little past dawn.. But everyone should be up soon enough anyways. And he couldn't want for good miracles to happen.

    They just did.

    >> Please do not make your cat know every herb under the sun as it would be highly unrealistic seeing that the Stormtribe cats are strict about the learning processes. I'm looking for one or two potential Midwifes and that's all.

  • the bisexual dove, pinto skipped unusally toward aster. using her sarcastic perky voice she skrieked, oooooo are you gonna teach us some herbs?! this reaction to learning was highly unusual, she was usually really moody and didn't give a sh.t for anything.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]The massive golden ocelot, dubbed the Regent of the tribe, moved silently in the shadows. "Lookin' for youngsters, aye?" A silky chuckled rippled from the tom as he sat down nearby. He might as well start getting to know the young of the Tribe, after all, he'd have a few of his own soon.

  • Ace-of-Spades-in-Card-Deck slowly padded over to the group, her light blue eyes staring down at her paws. The shy cream point only looked up from the ground when she neared the cats. "Hi," she meowed quietly, not saying anything else as she took a seat. Herbs fascinated the young she-cat, but she almost wanted to run away from the group. Acedeck didn't really like the fact that she was one of the first ones here.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Nostalgia That Chills to the Bone serenely padded up to the group of cats. The Dove smiled to her acquaintances, but first greeted the StormTribe's Healer. "Hello Aster," came her smooth voice, and the she-cat nodded. Her bright blue eyes were filled with sudden intrigue. What was this particular herb training for?

  • [fancypost bgcolor= transparent bordercolor= transparent borderwidth= 1px]Sweet Serenity, a gentle, graceful young Torbie glided forward. Her dreamy, lovely voice in action as usual. Blue eyes alight with playfulness, the nine-moon-old dove giggled as she padded up to stand beside Bullet. " Helloooo~ Aster. How are you guys today?" She meowed graciously.

  • Acedeck shrugged, her ears pricked at the sound of Sweet Serenity. The creme point murmured softly, more to herself than the torbie, "Fine, I guess." The nine-and-a-half moons old dove focused her attention on Aster, curious as to what he was going to teach them.

  • pinto shrugged, lifting her paw and turning it from side to side, So-so. She breezed it off as if it was nothing. the young dove yawned, turning and maneuvering her head to lick her black and white patched fur down.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

IC: Tree that Falls looked up at Aster with big cheerful yellow eyes. Herb training? The squire would not fail! He needed something to keep him occupied anyway- otherwise he'd get in trouble. The dusky grey round face if the tom was pointed straight up at the cat who'd be teaching them. He'd try to stay focused and not get off track but he couldn't help his fur fluffing up in excitement. At the sight of Sweet Serenity, the tom blinked. Maybe it'd be good to make a friend. "Hi, I'm Tree." he said and, for once, his voice sounded unconfident.

  • Well. Big crowd. He gave a dip of his head to the Regent before continuing onward. "Hello. How are you all today",He mewed, showing a bit of hospitality. There was more to being a Turtledove than most cats understood -truth be told.

Slightly he bent down to pick up a small flower of coltsfoot and held it up for the cats to see. "Can anyone tell me what this is",He mewed.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]"Coltsfoot," Nostalgia meowed briskly. Of course. This was a more basic herb, anyhow. "Used for... um, stuff that's going on in your lungs?" She wasn't so sure about that and had probably just spit up a really stupid answer, but she simply shrugged in a meek manner.

IC: "Yeah, like when you have greencough and your throat feels all puffy and you can't breathe!" Tree agreed, remembering when he had greencough. He hoped he was correct. The little trouble maker had studied hard but wasn't quite sure of himself. "Oh, and I'm doing just fine today." he said cheerily despite the fact that he was actually really nervous about this whole thing. I'll be fine! There's no need to worry.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: georgia;]Acedeck studied the dandelion-looking plant for a second, and nodded in agreement with the others. "Yeah, it's coltsfoot." It's kind of pretty, too... she added silently, not wanting to say it out loud for fear of being laughed at. "It's found near...water, right?"
