She had gone to sleep but woke up when he sat on the bed. "My turn." she said, getting up and getting in the shower. About twenty minutes she came out covered in nothing but a towel. "Here, now you see me without the makeup and nice, pretty clothes. What do you think? Still want to date me?"

She looked at him like he was crazy. "I don't see why! I look like a wet rat!"

He just smiled and stood up " because I love you an I don't care what you look like I will still want to date you"

She smiled and went to him. She reached up to hug him and her towel fell. She felt a blush rise to her cheeks. "Sorry" she whispered.

" it's okay " he told her

"You promise?" she asked quietly.

Wha do I need to promise" he asked

She just kissed him and went to her room to put on some clothes. "Shayne! Can I wear one of your t-shirts?" she called, sounding more like she used to when she was just his sister.

" sure " he called back to her

"Toss me one, will ya?"

He tossed her a T shirt

Noting it was his favorite, she put it on and went back to his room. "May I ask why you gave me your favorite one?"

" first one I grabbed" he sai sitting on hi bed

She nodded. "So, I have nothing on but my undergarments and your oversized t-shirt. We can't go anywhere because mom and dad took the car. This is going to be a long day." she said laying down on his bed, grateful for the length of the shirt.

Well I can go borrow nicks car. His family is out of ow and I know where all the keys are

"I'd rather you didn't, cuz, ya know...." she trailed off.

"I don't want you going into protective mode or anything but Nick wasn't always that good to me, ya know?"
