• Beyond the forest the two-legs houses were all lit up, the Scarclan leader had gave him a christmas had which admittedly kept his ears warm. "Ho ho ho!" The Thunderclan leader mewed leaping up onto the Highrock. "Thunderclan cats young and old, gather around! The snow is falling and you know what that means? Winter is here!" Now if Bonestar were in charge the attitude was much different, good thing he wasnt.

• [fancypost borderwidth=0]Wishfuldesire had an eye for beauty and she decided the winter scene was most beautiful. She would of much preferred to share it with her vanished mate though. Setting a single, ivory paw, a serene smile enlightened her features. A thin layer of frost beneath her paws, a small snow-flake drifted down to land on her dark nose. She sneezed, a soft giggle leaving her curved, now beaming maw. Taking deep breaths of the cold, crisp air, she ventured forwards towards her leader.

A beautiful winter wonder-land. She dropped her head to snuffle the snow, a few shivers running down the curve of her spine. Flickering her dark blue gaze up to a rather cheery leader, another smile graced her ivory muzzle and she straightened herself to look as gracious as she could, ears perked to listen to his announcement.

• "Snow!" Skunkpaw squealed, feeling as if he was a kit again.

(Low muse and in a hurry.)

• [fancypost borderwidth=0px]A flake of snow landed on her pink nose and tortie pelt as Gingerpaw poked her head out of the apprentice den, the call ringing in her ears. It was amazing.. The soft white substance floating from the sky and landing gently down below. It melted quickly on her warm coat as she padded over, a small bounce noticeable in each of the apprentice's step. Never had she personally seen snow before, but she had heard many stories of it coming each year. It was nice to know that perhaps one day she'd be telling the kits about snow before they actually got to see it. Though it would be a fairly nice surprise for all of them.

Gingerpaw looked around camp, noticing just how amazing the landscape was when it was snowing. It was beautiful. "It's so wonderful."

The cinnamon tabby strolled casually out of the warrior's den like any other morning. Although this was a different kind of morning, since the first snow of the season had arrived! "Whaaa-" Tawnyleg gasped as she felt something cold under her paws, and looked all around to see beautiful snow. "Woo-hoo!" the spunky she-cat plopped down onto the snow and tried to make snow angels in the ground just like old times. She remembered loving the snow as a kit, and was overjoyed to see it once again. Tawnyleg couldn't hel but feel a bit nostalgic...

• Brambleshade poked her head out, gasping at the cold. But goodness, this was beautiful! She jumped out of her den, letting all four paws sink in with a "crunch" sound. She giggled happily - snow always made her act like a kit again.

• "Since its the new season and things are changing, I have a small annoucment, the messenger position is no more! But Tawnyleg and Wishfuldesires are now assistant deputies. They'll still be able to do their duties and are active members in the clan." Scorchstar said with a grin. "Now, who's up for a snowball fight?"

• [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Green eyes lighting up, Gingerpaw flicked her tail. "I'd be up for a snowball fight!" The tortie exclaimed but couldn't help but wonder how exactly they'd have a snowball fight. They were cats after all, and the twolegs used their hands, so what would they use to make snowballs? They couldn't use their paws, could they?

• "Snowball fight!" Skunkpaw mewed, rolling a thick sheet of snowflakes into a ball with his maw.

• 'Oh mah gawd, not snow AGAIN!!' Ikea groaned, her slate grey eyes narrowed in distaste. The whole reason her owner had moved was to get away from New York and that TERRIBLE snow! Now the pretty American Curl was in all of it, again. God damn it! Hissing a low curse she sat down uncomfortably by Scorchstar, her fluffy calico pelt littered with all the stuff. 'Greeeeat. Back in New York, we gots this all the f*cking time! Ya can't tell meh, this is gonna happen HERE too . . like really. Whole reason I joined cuz there was no f*cking snow. Now it's here. Again. I swear . .' The warrior grumbled in her heavy, rather obnoxious New York accent.

• [fancypost borderwidth= 0pt]
"Th-Thank you, Scorchfire!"
With a grin, Tawnyleg looked up at her leader then to Wishy. "Congrats!" she said, now feeling very proud of herself. The tabby stood up and nodded her agreement. "I want to join in!" the new assistant deputy said with a chuckle and began to dig up some snow. She tried to form it into a snowball-like shape, and it wasn't half bad. Then the tabby picked it up in her maw and aimed to fling it at Gingerpaw. "Look out!"

• "Congratulations Wishfuldesire and Tawnyleg," the red tabby bi-colour mewed, glancing towards the newly-named Assistant Deputies. At Scorchstar's words, Rapidflare grinned and twitched his tail. A snowball fight? He may have been a warrior, but the tom wasn't going to pass up an opportunity like this. "A snowball fight? Count me in." Amber eyes bright, the tom turned his gaze towards Ikea, who he had never met before. He really couldn't understand why she disliked the snow so much. Ever since he was a kit Rapidflare had loved it, and it hadn't changed as he aged.

• [fancypost borderwidth=0px]As the snowball hit her, Gingerpaw let out a light laugh before taking some snow and making it look a bit like a blob. Picking it up carefully she trotted a bit closer to Tawnyleg before running past and flinging it towards her in attempt to hit the assistant deputy lightly with the bundle of snow.

• Whiteflame padded out to the snowy scene and smiled. The snow brought back many childhood memories for the winter-born tom. Playing in the snow was one of his favorite activities as a kit--and it hadn't changed!
"Tawnyleg! Wishfuldesires!" he called out in congrats to the two newly appointed assistant deputies.
"Could we play manhunt in the snow after the snowball fight?" he suggested with a grin.

• [fancypost borderwidth=0pt]"What the f*ck?" meowed the Sunray as he watched little snowflakes fall onto his paw. The red tabby never really experienced snow before and right now he kinda liked it. The cold weather fit perfectly with his soul, so cold and wet. His blue eyes were locked onto Tawnyleg as he aimed to through a small snowball at the assistant deputy playfully.

• Cameowaltz chuckled at her leaders santa impression and smiled at the new promotions. "Congrats" she said, smiling gleefully as she jumped around in the snow.

• Whiteflame turned his head to the new arrival and laughed.
"What's wrong, never seen snow before?" he asked in a kind, but teasing, tone.
The white fur of the tom blended in well with the surroundings, and he knew that very well, so he wasn't uncertain that he would be of the best in snowball fights.

Tawnyleg was laughing as snowballs were thrown at her, and she decided how fun this all was. "Thanks, congrats to you too Cameowaltz." She said with a small purr, and remembered how the other she-cat was recently promoted as well. Looking around, the tabby knew who her next target would be: Whiteflame. Smiling slyly, she picked up a snowball and aimed it at the tomcat.

• Fuschiabloom nodded to the cat at this. The Messengers had been loyal to no end and they would make extremly good deputies when the time came. She sighed, however, when a small snowball hit her flicking tail. Shouldn't they be preparing for the next disaster to come? Or was this to take the stress off of waiting for the next reign of terror that met the world at it's end? The warrior nodded, suddenly eager to join in and have a little fun.
