Hazelfur was fast asleep, still worrying about Birchstorm. [when he walked in]

Featherwind gave Briarkit some herds to eat.

Birchstorm shook Hazelfur. "Hazelfur! Wake up!" he said urgently.

Featherwind looked down at the small kit and nodded in greenest with the Thunderlcna medicine cat. "She'll be fine. Also, I have to borrow some catmint." She added.
Fernkit looked at her father and turned away from him.

Hazelfur woke with a start.
Briarkit tried to nibble at the herbs.

"Briarkit is sick." he said to Hazelfur.

Birchstorm looked at Brairkit and sighed. "I found her out in the snow." he told Hazelfur.

Hazelfur covered her kits in licks. "The poor thing!"

Fernkit snarled lightly. Her father was back, and she did not appreciate it.
Featherwind looked at Briarkit, then at the Thunderclan medicine cat.
