stomlake sighs he will have to stay there for the night

"Oh, that is sad. Well, I have to get back home. But I may come back tomorrow and see you." Birchpaw said to Stormlake before going back to his clan.
"Ok! Tomorrow after training I'll be here!" he called back to Hazelpaw and Stormlake. Then be went home to his clan.

End of day one.
Hazelpaw got up at dawn and trained with her mentor. After training she went to the lake.

stormlake was still asleep

Birchpaw was already sitting by the lake, waiting for his friends. He spotted Hazelpaw coming and purred. "You made it!" he exclaimed.

Hazelpaw prods him with a paw. 'This den doesn't look very cozy... you should make a more comfy one!' Hazelpaw mewed.

'Of course I made it!'

"We could help make him a comfier den!?" Birchpaw said excitedly to Hazelpaw.

''Yeah! I'll get moss!' She bounds away to the moss tree, collects moss, and comes back.

"I found some feathers while you were gone. They will be good for keeping him warm." Birchpaw said, dropping a mouthful of feathers on the ground.

'Perfect! Let's make it in the roots of that tree over there.' She says, pointing her tal to a tree.

"Good idea." he said.

Hazelpaw digs a place where it will be dry and fills it with moss.

Birchpaw scatters the feathers in the moss. "Now that looks like one comfy nest!" he said, admiring their work.

''Yup! Let's go tell Stormlake!''

"Ok!" he said excitedly and followed Hazelpaw over to Stormlake's old den.

Hazelpaw pokes Stormlake.
