Moonclaw nodded. "I told her about it," He meowed, trying to find a better sitting position on the frozen ground.
Sparrowkit and Poppykit hopped out of the nursery to meet Dippledkit as she ran up to them. "There you are!" Sparrowkit growled beckoning for them to follow him into the nursery. Poppykit followed happily. "What were you doing?" She asked Dippledkit as they padded through the entrance to the den.
" Moonclaw said there was a cat named Dippledpelt. And right when she died we where born! I think me and her are connected. And thats why everyone is weird around me!" She told them.
Sparrowkit looked back at her and looked at Poppykit. "No body acts weird to you," He meowed with a confused expression on his face.
" some cats do. Thats not not the point though." She smiled and did a flip in the air.
Petalflare nodded solemnly.
"I don't understand some cats," she meowed. "I personally think it was a mouse brained idea to kill yourself in the middle of leaf bare because of a broken paw. It just leads to tradegy and creates a mess in thunderclan." And it also proves that you can't take pain or hardship, she almost added. She was beginning to overcome her sadness at his death and instead, was replacing it with anger. "I mean come on! It was just a broken paw!" She burst out. "Other cat's have endured much worse than that!" Frustrated she tore at her fresh kill. She angrily chewed up the bite of freshkill. Memories of her past on that fateful day began to flood her. I'M the one who endured more pain than Bloodcure....
Moonclaw looked up at Petalflare and for once wondered what was going on in her head. "Take it easy," He meowed, watching her rip apart the fresh-kill.
Bluestream looked at petalflare and saw something was troubled her, " petalflare calm down, i know you are angry, i also was that when i found out why he killed himself, but some cats ends thier lives when they think the life have no mening " she meowed and whisperd the last words.
Moonclaw dared not try to comfort Petalflare by making any physical contact. He knew her enough by now to know not to do that. "I wonder what happened to Dippledpelt. I remember coming back to camp and she was in the medicine cats den," He meowed looking thoughtfully up at the sky.
Bluestream looked at moonclaw dipplepelt, how was that again ? she thought and when she remember her, " a other cat killed her " she meowed
Petalflare suddenly realized what she was doing and how she must have looked towards the other cats. She smiled grimly. Petalflare forced her fur to lie flat, and tried to push those thoughts out of her mind. However she couldn't seem to keep them away. The warrior with the copper eyes kept flashing in her mind. Those eyes that would haunt anyone...her chaotic laugh....those yellow teeth... Petalflare couldn't compress a shiver. That she-cat should have been banished for what she did! Her fur was rising again. She angrily made it lie flat. Petalflare listened to Bluestream.
"I guess that's true...but still." she meowed sadly. Atleast they think that I'm getting worked up over Bloodcure's death, she thought grimly.
"Who is this Dipplepelt anyways?" she added.
Bluestream looked at petalflare again, " it was a warrior how was killed bu an other cat, i didn`t know her so well " she meowed
Petalflare looked up surprised and alert.
"From which clan?" she meowed tensely.
"She was a young warrior. I didn't know her too well," Moonclaw admitted simply. "It's strange though how Dippledkit has her name...."
"I didn't know her at all," Petalflare confessed. She cocked her head at Moonclaw's comment. "You talking about that annoying kit? The one who was pestering you?"
Moonclaw nodded. "That's the one. She seemed unusually interested in Dippledpelt."
" Come on. Isnt it weird how Dippledpelt and I have they same first name part?!" She said.
"A lot of cats have that," Sparrowkit pointed out. Poppykit tilted her head looking uncertain. "Your mother named you, she could have named you after Dippledpelt after she died," She added sitting down next to Feathercrow.
" But many cats get thier name after other cats, mabey feathercrow knew dipplepelt " she meowed.
