Ebonypaw nodded and turned. "You two go ahead." She said with a slight frown and turned from them. "I'll catch up later." She said still refusing to look at them.

"No come with us. Your part of me too, remember."

Ebonypaw looked up at him. "Lead the way."

Goldenpaw looked at Ebonypaw with a sudden pang of jealousy. She quickly shook it off and stared at her paws.

Ebonypaw looked at Goldenpaw. "What?" She asked emotionlessly, her eyes narrowed into emerald slits.

Goldenpaw looked at her paws. "Oh, I just noticed that..." she paused, trying to find something on Ebonypaw. "..that you have a fly on your ear!"

"Tell me what's really bothering you." She said, her tail tip twitching slightly.

Padding away from Hawkkit, she managed to catch up to the three apprentices. "Everything okay now?"

Hawkpaw limped after her confusedly

"Yes."

"I..." Goldenpaw paused once again. What am I supposed to say?! I want to be friends with her, and I guess that builds on trust, but what am I going to say? 'I just got jealous of you for a minute'? No way! She pondered for a little bit before saying, "I-it's really nothing. I'm just a little light-headed from hunger I guess. Do you wanna go hunt with me?" Please let that excuse be enough!

"I can help, do you want to go now?" Hawkpaw asked when she saw how Goldenpaw was having some trouble in the conversation

"Nah, just stay here."

"I..." Hawkpaw couldn't just sit there bleeding slowly while her evil kin Hawkfrost plotted to kill her. But if she went hunting on her own then it would be easy for him to kill her. Hawkpaw sighed, maybe I can find something here to do? If not then they cant stop me from hunting too, I'm an apprentice now. Why that leader made me, a loner, an apprentice I'll never know...
