She, instead of heading toward camp, bolted straight for the darkest trees.

Icepaw saw Rainwolf pelt into the darkness. She started to run after her, then stopped. What the heck?!?!?! Icepaw thought, staring after Rainwolf.
-
This was her chance, her chance to leave! Rainwolf left the SnowClan territory, and headed for the blackheart rogues.
-
Before he could compliment his clanmate's kill, Rainwolf was spiraling off toward a section of trees that looked darker than his own pelt. Pantherstrike started to chase after her. He couldn't lose the closest thing to Moonshadow he had. "Rainwolf!!!"
-
She moved faster, determined to get out of the SnowClan grounds. She was leaving, for sure. What could stop her? She was an orphan, mentor less.
-
Pantherstrike beat against the iced ground harder, determined to reach Rainwolf before she was gone for good, even though leaving didn't sound like such a bad idea.. "Rainwolf!!!!!!!!!" the tom roared again, louder.
-
She jumped and fell awkwardly on her face. Sheesh.
-
A cat face down in the snow came into sight. Surely this was Rainwolf. Either way, it managed a bit of laughter from the tom. Pantherstrike sped to the fallen cat and poked the body.
-
"Oooooh ayyyy." she meant go away, but her mouth was filled with snow and dirt.
-
"Heh, excuse me?" he said with a chuckle. Pantherstrike's suspicions then raised. "Why are you.. running away?"
-
"Because, no one will accept me here. Or you, no offense. They don't get the pain. I'm going to turn that pain into being a good soldier." Rainwolf meowed dryly.
-
Pantherstrike was taken aback by her blunt statement. Sadly, it was true. Warriors were lost frequently and there was no time for someone to mourn forever. Get over it, they say. It's not that easy. He couldn't just leave his home, though. The tom had been here since he was a tiny kit. A stray kitten, adopted into the clan like he was born there. How could he abandon the place that gave him the ability to live, to have a life?
-
"I'm sorry, Pantherstrike. But this place also has very painful memories. Ones I don't want to think about. Ever again." Rainwolf sighed, thinking of her gone mentor. "I bet she's dead. You should move on. It's hard, but I did it."
-
Rainwolf's words were like a thousand needles pricking his poor heart. "I can't give up, not now. She's still out there.. I know it," Pantherstrike meowed softly, his head bowed.
-
"You're living in a bit of a fantasy, here." she meowed matter-of-factly.
-
Icepaw caught up to them, panting.
-
"I'm living in a fantasy?" he hissed, "Look at yourself. You're running away to do who knows what. You know what's out there - badgers, wolves, things stronger than a single cat. But whatever, I am done here!" The tom turned tail, taking a glance at Icepaw as he abandoned the fleeing cat. Caring just got him hurt anyways.
-
She rolled her eyes coldly and went back to her running. Se was furious, but glad he kinda understood. Rainpaw headed towards the elite.
-
The tom stormed off, furious with Rainwolf. She was going to get herself killed. Pantherstrike slowed his roll and allowed himself to breath in deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself. He walked with no general destination, but his paws were carrying him along a very familiar path.
-
Rainwolf was in their territory. It was Celadour now...
