Moonshadow felt herself flush underneath her silvery fur and purred loudly, nuzzling him back. Completely at a loss for words, the she-cat pressed up against her mate as closely as she could, the pale warmth from the setting sun settling gently on the slope.

Pantherstrike wrapped his tail around his mate, his loud purrs seeming to echo around them. He was so glad Moonshadow was back. Her presence made all of the hurt vanish, like it was never even there. His stomach roared, interrupting the precious moment. "Let's eat," he said with a laugh.

Moonshadow chuckled and butted her mate's shoulder playfully, pulling the rabbit closer and nudging it towards him, allowing him to have the first bite.

IC: Moonshadow licked her lips eagerly and leaned over, tearing a juicy mouthful out of the hare's flank. Letting out a rumbly purr, she swallowed it quickly, delicious aromas floating around the two cats.

Moonshadow took another large bite of the hare, quickly finishing her share before settling back. The silver she-cat leaned over and began to groom her mate's black fur, a purr rumbling in her throat.
