  • Character Name: Pell

    Character Age: 28 Moons

    Gender: Male

    Alliance: Stoneclan http://warriorcatsrpg.com/index.php?topic=599454.0

    Rank: Medicine Cat Apprentice

Appearance (6 or more sentences): Pell's appearance is like the night sky. So simple, yet once closely examined, it becomes wondrous and awe-inducing. He is covered with gleaming, jet-black fur, thick fur that can come very useful when he does not want to be seen. Each single piece of hair ends with a small silvery fleck that catches the sun's rays or the moon's glimmering beams and reflects it, giving off faint hints of a silvery aura emanating around him. His deep, alluring, emerald-green eyes, however, are very distinctive in contrast to the black fur and can be seen from a great distance away. The enticing shade is rather unique and has been described to hold even more beauty than emerald stones themselves. His vision, due to the intense colour of his eyes, a slightly tinted green. However, the acuteness of said vision is not any less than that of your average cat. Pell has soft, crystal white paw pads, which can adapt to the harshest of weather. His vicious-looking, razor-sharp, healthy, white teeth give him his reputation, as they can rip through tough materials with ease. His strong, muscular body adds to the magnificent look and enables him to reach breath-taking speeds.

Personality (6 or more sentences--these sentences form their own section and do NOT count towards the 4 groups below. Those are additional requirements):Pell is kind-hearted and loving soul inside a hardened shell. As a result of his heart-wrenching past, his true personality, one of great warmth and inviting gentleness, has been beaten into him. Now he comes off as impulsive and reckless, selfish and uncooperative, when he himself knows that on the contrary, he is quite the opposite. As others label him the 'trouble maker', his willingness and drive to learn to help and heal the wounded comes as a great surprise to the members of his clan. He is a brave and magnificent hunter, he's naturally unbelievably fast, clever and strong. He enjoys hunting mostly at night, using his fur much to his advantage, as this method has proven to be the best when stalking prey, intending for a quick catch that couldn't have been foresaw. He is very loyal, dependable, kind, brave to the very few that actually know him but, reserved and usually insanely quiet to those he is unaccustomed to. He can be very short tempered and rough, but to the ones he holds dear to his heart, he is very generous and will protect them at all costs.
---Likes (at least 3): Pell likes playing jokes on others and likes to arouse fights. Surprisingly, he also adores the art of healing and medicine.
--- Dislikes (at least 3): Pell has take a great disliking to cats of his past. He hates being told what to do and even more so, ignorant cats.
---Strengths (No MORE than 5): Pell is a gifted healer. He also excels in hunting and fighting as he is incredibly fast and strong.
---Weaknesses (At least 3): Often, Pell's stubbornness finds him in tough situations. He is also rather indecisive and lacks a sense of right judgement.

History (8 or more sentences): Pell had a particularly rough life growing up with his family. He was born, the last of five kittens, and being the youngest and so, the weakest, he often received the least food, causing him to become quickly malnourished. His parents seemed to notice this, and though you'd think they would stick their necks out to ensure chronic feeding, they managed to do the complete opposite. They spotted his diminishing strength and decided to set all their focus and attention on their older kits, which did nothing but destroy Pell's hopes of survival and confidence. Despite all this, Nat's love for his family never seemed to stop intensifying.
At the tender age of 11 moons, while on a hunting trip with his brothers Azcapelt and Jakohart, Pell's love suddenly transformed to deep loathing. He had been padding as carefully as he possibly could, following the lead of the eldest Azcapelt, when their prey came clearly into sight, just metres from them. Instinctively, they shifted to stalking positions and continued onward. Completely unaware of the fallen branch in the trio's path, Pell's forepaw deftly came down to land on it, breaking the tree's limb with a sounded crack. The prey, now aware of the hunters' presences, turned and began bounding in the opposite direction. That day, the boy's came home empty handed and were met with severe punishments. While carrying out one of the many tasks handed to them, Pell's brother's turned on him. It seemed they had planned the whole thing for more than just a few days, as they cleverly cornered him and began fighting him, maybe hoping to beat some sense into the younger kit.
Following the traumatic endurance, Pell dared not return to his Father's lands. Instead, he began his far journey to find and join another clan. It took months of searching and learning to fend for himself, but eventually, Pell came across some warriors of the Stoneclan and was accepted with open arms. Though as a result of the frightful events of his past, Pell grew to become the cat he is today.

Roleplay Sample (Required for first advanced bio): "Is there anything I can do to help?", Pell asked Sunstar, sudden worry flooding his voice and features. Quickly padding over to Moondust's side, he examined her wounds thoroughly and came to a conclusion. Being the apprentice of the Medicine Cat of the Clan came as a great advantage to him. He was able to asses injuries, knew what plants healed what wounds and what herbs cured what infections. He was even allowed treat patients who harboured minor wounds. It seemed Moondust was the only one in the whole Clan who managed to look past Pell's fixed exterior and into his heart.
The wound looked rather deep but as it hadn't been exposed for too long, it wasn't infected. Pell hurriedly made his way over to some stacked jars, steadying his breathing so as to not let the fact that his mentor was hurt, get to him. He scanned the all too familiar, worn labels, plucked a white salve from the pile and brought it back to Moondust.
