    Leafstar paddled out of the den, yawning. The silver tabby looked at the rising sun and blinked her eyes serveral times. She then looked for ther deputy, Moonear

    Moonear padded out of the warriors den,yawning. Her black pelt shone in the early sunlight, and she took a crow from the fresh-kill pile,thinking about the patrols.

    Solarpaw walked out of the Apprentice den and stretched. Her ginger tabby pelt seemed to glow in the early morning as she sat down in the Clearing.

    "Good morning Moonear." Leafstar meowed. "Don't worry about the hunting petrol because I'll be going alone. You better train Solarpaw" The tortoishell leader paddled towards the entrance.of camp. "See you later" she meowed behind her back.


    Hazelwish sorted herbs, preparing for the coming leafbare. She paddled out for berries incase of snow killing off those precious herbs.

    Moonear nodded, and padded quickly over to Solarpaw. "Make sure you get something from the fresh kill pile before we leave; you're going to be learning a lot today." she mewed, finishing her crow.

    Solarpaw looked at her mentor and nodded before she walked over to the Fresh Kill Pile. She picked up a Rabbit and settled down before eating it.

    Leafstar paddled deeper into the reeds and began to sniff for some prey. Reedclan was a small clan but she was sure that the clan would thrive. She flicked her silver eyes from left to right. She caught a vole in her sight.


    Hazelwish looked for herbs. Juniper berries and maybe some catnip for any coughs.

    "Ok, today, we're going to practice hunting. Our fresh-kill pile is dangerously low." she mewed,heading towards the hunting place.

    Moonear dropped into a hunters crouch when she saw a mouse,nibbling on a beech nut. She carefully stalked forward, then pounced in it, killing it with a swift bite to the neck.

    Leafstar approached the vole carefully and leaped, landing on it's back. The vole let out a small squeak before dying. The tortoishell pelted cat scraped some earth on the tiny creature and searched for more prey.


    Hazelwish found a few juniper berries from a bush. She began to collect them by nibbling and pawing. When she thought she had enough, she searched for some catnip.

    Solarpaw nodded and replied "Ok,". She crawled towards a vole that was innocently scurrying around. When it sat still, Solarpaw crawled towards it. It dashed towards the nearest hole when Solarpaw alerted it of her presence accidently. She managed to catch it by it's tail near the edge of the hole and she quickly ended the vole's life.

    Moonear nodded. " Good,good." she meowed, padding over to inspect the vole.

    "It's very fat. I'm proud of you Solarpaw. Since there are no elders, you may eat your first vole." Moonear smiled.

    Solarpaws face lightened up. "Really? Thanks Moonear!". The happy apprentice picked up the vole. She ran towards camp with the vole hanging from her jaws.
