  • Lavendar, a blue seal point Ragdoll, sits upon her Twoleg's porch, watching the dark forests that line the back of her territory. The smell of feral cats is faint, but reaches her sharp senses. Part of the kittypet has always longed for the feel of soft moss under her paws and the life of a wild cat, but her domesticated side always won out, reminding her of the warmth of her plush bed and comfort of her Twolegs' hands. She sighed, wistfully looking out in to the woods.

  • Out of distance, a brown tabby stared into the twoleg place. He didn't like the cold nights, and having to fetch his own food. He could just feel the nice, cozy bed in the twoleg nest, dreaming away, not a care in the world...

  • The she-cat stretches leisurely before gracefully standing and padding out on to the perfectly manicured lawn. Not one scent of a mouse could be found on the yard. Dejectedly, she lays on the ground and rolls to her back, soaking up the sun that was quickly fading.

  • He finally decoted. He was leaving his clan for a kittypet life. He entered the two leg place and walked around. I should get to know the place if I'm going to find a home. He thought. Then, he came to this fairly large house and stepped up on the porch. Going into action. He smirked and started whining. A two leg came to the big device that opens and closes and looked down at me. I looked up at the two leg making the most pleading face I could think of.

  • Lavender frowns and flicks her ears. Was that whining... She asked herself. Slowly, she rolls to her belly and spies one of her Twolegs on the back deck with a strange cat in their hands.
"What is this?" She mumbled and stood, shaking her pelt. She took off at a trot and stopped at the Twolegs feet and stared up at him with narrowed eyes.
"Who are you and why are you with MY person?" She meows.

  • ''I'm Bramblefeather. And I'm looking for a home. This is my best tequice. Bramblefeather glanced at the two leg. And the two leg is taking it real well. He purred some more at the two leg.

  • Lavender growled slightly and stopped up to her Twoleg and territorially rubbed against her.
"They don't know any better." She hisses as she glares at Bramblefeather. "So you should return to your..." She sniffs at him and scrunches her nose "Feral life."

  • Bramblefeather squinted and his ears flicked up. ''Listen, I came to this place for one thing and one thing only, to not die! Out there we have to fight for every scrap of food. No proper bedding and there's fights about every moon! His eyes turned to sadness and looked away. I just want a home...''

  • The silver tabby flicks her ears back and looks away from the Tom. "I see." She mumbles. "Then you can stay...I doubt the humans will let you in so soon, but you may stay on the property and porch. You will be fed." She shuffles her paws.

  • "No, I don't believe I mentioned it." She replies coolly. With a flick of the tail, she is resting on top of the porch railing, overlooking the yard. "Where did you come from, Bramblefeather?"

  • ''Those trees over there. He flicked his tail towards the forest just beyond her yard. We live in this clan right about over there if you turn left and keep going until you see a fallen treetrnk then turn and go straight.'' He shrugged.

  • She tipped her head with curiousity, but didn't comment on it.
"So what made you leave, again? I heard Clans were fairly kind."

  • "The humans were just putting out my food." She shrugged. "No big deal. Changing subjects don't work with me, by the way." She mewed as she jumped down from the railing and padded to the door where a fresh bowl of food was set.

  • ''Hey wait! He called as the two leg came out with another bowl of food. Look! The two leg gave me food!" Bramblefeather winked at the she cat with a mouth full of food.

  • Lavender chuckled slightly. "They aren't heartless like a lot of cats think." She picked at her own food, not entirely hungry.
