wolfkit looked up at the leader and smiled with pride as he said the cerimonial words and announced her new name. "your mentor shall be Rippleheart!" bramblestar yowled to the clan.

RippleHearts icy blue eyes widened in shock. I'm going to be a mentor the words from bramblestars announcement rang on her eyes as she purred. She softly padded up to high rock, she smiled pleased with her apprentice. She stretched out her neck. Her blue grey nose touched her new apprentices black one.

i could feel a shock run through my fur as i touched mymentors nose. the excitment made me want to run the camp! evryone called my new name and i felt swollen with pride.

Brablestar dismissed the two she-cats as the moon crept into the sky RippleHeart told her apprentice " will start training tommarow as" as she walked into the warriors den

Wolfpaw bounced up and down with excitment. I have one of the best warriors as my mentor! she thought as the clan headed to their dens. When she laid down in her nest she didn't fall asleep untill the moon was high in the sky.

"Hi Rippleheart. When do we start training?" Wolfpaw said eagerly. She was about to burst with anticipation.

" How big is the ThunderClan territory" she asked, wanting to know as much about her clan as possible. She looked around her mentor at another apprentice bringing in freshkill and putting it on the fresh- kill pile

Ripple heart smiled at eager apprentice " big anough to fed us all" said the warrior as she walked out of camp

Wolfpaw followed her mentor out of camp for her first patrol. She had so many questions, but didn't know which ones to ask first. So she asked the most basic. "What is the most important job a apprentice has to do?", she asked.

" clean the elders den" she answered as they approached a large clump moss

"Really? I thought it was to become a warrior." Wolfpaw said truthfully. She started to collect the moss knowing shed need it

"Oh yeah.Silly me" she said.Then she started flicking her wrist to collect the moss.

RippleHeart smiled and joined her apprentice in colllecting moss for nest " remember not to get dirt or sticks in the clumps" she added as she accumlated a pile of moss

" Okay. What are we doing after this?" WolfPaw asked excitedly.
