  • (Lol I like the same food as America XD)

I found a map and scanned it until I found the star exhibit. "Its not that far from here. Its just upstairs and past one exhibit that seems pretty small." I said, a more comfortable smile returning to my face once I'd calmed down. I thought it was weird though, the exhibit we had to go through to get to the star one didn't have a name on its number label. I wondered what it was. (I just got a interesting plot idea. What if that unnamed exhibit was about the revolutionary war?)

  • (That would be so sad! Love it! It could deepen emotions.) (And finally! Someone who sees food like I do! XD)

I nodded, "shall we?" I asked him, my hand beckoning him forward. "I do wonder why its unnamed. . . Perhaps they forgot." I reasoned, walking with him up the stairs, studying signs placed randomly on the way up. (Sorry for shorter posts. Im on my tablet and doing Spanish homework.)

  • (Yeah! Awesome dude! XD)
"But why would they forget? It seems like they didn't want it to attract too much attention." I mused. "For what reason I really have no cl-" I suddenly broke off, and my eyes grew wide. Before now I hadn't been paying much attention to what was displayed around me. Blue uniforms, red uniforms, with faded colors and stains of the war. Guns, bayonets, a cannon. Display cases of rusty cups, tools, and bullets. Planty of paintings as well, many potraying graphic scenes. And, seeming to stand out above everything else, a ragged flag on the wall, protected by a large frame concealing it in glass. Despite its faded, threadbare appearence, the thirteen white stars seemed to glow with a sort of desperate pride. Beneith the flag was another one, bearing a faded union jack. Several gaping holes seemed to have been ripped into the British flag, I knew they were from cannonballs. One corner was shredded and heavily stained, I knew it had been blood. I knew because I had been there when it happened. I'd seen it all; the hunger, the sickness, the cold, the puffs of smoke as bullets flew and men fall. The pain of being torn away from a brother, and then forced to fight against him. That was me......that was me. I can't move, I'm frozen in place, forced to again see things that had tortured my mind for years. I was held captive by the background music of the old war songs. I knew what this exhibit was about, thought a wish with all my might that I didn't. This exhibit was about the Revolutionary War. And the two former brothers who had been in the middle of that war, were now once again surrounded by things used so many centuries ago.......to kill.
(Haha I'm supposed to be taking a shower and then working on Writing homework, but instead I'm getting distracted using my kindle fire)

  • (I had to write sentences about my school schedule and classes in spanish. It took me forever because I tried googling homeroom.... XD... blonde moment.... there is no spanish word for homeroom.....)

I gazed at it all, getting weak in the knees and gaping. My hands trembled, and I was straining not to let tears fill my eyes. That was the worst battle I'd ever been in, because I had made to attack my own brother, my own love. I couldn't look over to see if America was alright because it might push me so far of the edge tht there would be no hope regaining ground. This footing I'd had these past days were no better. Seeing this. . . Makes me realize how much I needed America. . . How many mistakes I have made. This history crushed down on me as heavy as Atlas dropping the world on my shoulders.

(Dude, I want a kindle fire. XD. I have an Android tablet. And i also have.... math. Test tomorrow. Yay meeee!)

  • (Lol we all have those moments CX for example I keep having to rewrite my posts because I forget I'm supposed to do it in 1rst person and instead do it in 3rd)
I clenched his hands into shaking fists. The desperation to get away from all the painful memories brought my frozen body back to life. "Lets go England!" I said, forcing my voice to remain steady. I quickly grabbed his hand and hurried throught the exhibit, keeping my eyes fixed on the ground. Finally after what feels like half an hour we passed through the exit into a small sitting room that lead into our goal exhibit. But I couldn't go in yet, I had to calm down. I let go of England and walked over to a window and stood there, staring at my reflection and the distant, shattered expression on my face.
(Its 9:30 and I haven't finished my math homework yaaaay. I guess I'll have to do it during school yaaay....8:D)

  • (XD. Im debating whether or not I should do some more atom stuff for science.... i have a deadline of 6 or 7 days....... hmm.... orrrrrrrrr I can go play Zelda or Just Dance x3)

I cast a look towards him. He looked terrible and sad, but I kept my distance. I sat down, clutching the arm rest as I tried to remain in control. I studied a simple flower painting, trying hard for a calm that wouldn't come. I stood after a moment, walking over to America and standing next to him, not saying anything and just clutching the windowsil. (Aw. Sadness.)

  • (Hmmm...that's tough.......Zelda.)

I didn't need to look over to know England was beside me, I could see him faintly reflected in the window. It was oddly comforting to have him beside me, to know that after all those years we didn't have to hats eachother anymore. Hopefully we would never fight like that again. There was a while of silence before I felt the sorrow on my heart lift to allow my optemistic enthusiasm to return. I smiled softly and said, "Hey England, you ready to see the best Damn star e hibit you've ever seen in your life?"
(With sadness comes love~ QwQ *passionate tears*)

  • "Mm, yes I am." I gave another rare slight smile. I was happier now that America was better. My hands went in my pockets and followed him into the Star exhibit, looking around in sudden amazement. I took one had out of my pocket, running my fingers through my hair, it falling down messily and windswept. I looked at America to see his reaction, but looked down when I realized I was getting extremely personal, confusing me more and more.

(You, my friend, are a poet! XD!)

  • *gasp* and I didn't know it! X3

I looked in amazement at my surroundings. All the walls and the ceiling was painted black, and thousands of tiny lights, imitating entire galaxies. "Wow England, this is so cool!" I said with a big smile, turning to find that the blonde looked quite distrancted, for some reason. "Hey, you okay dude?" I asked, poking him on the cheek -I often did that just because it was funny-. I was a little worried that he was still upset about the war exhibit, though I hoped that wasn't it.

  • "Im fine... just... wow." I stumbled on words, but I basically got what I meant out. His poking me on the cheek made me blush slightly, and my blonde hair hung in my face for a moment and I looked up. "So, why dont we look around in here more than just gaping at it?" I chuckled after asking the question. I grabbed his hand, looking down at a plaque particularly close to us.

    (XD.)

  • I grinned and siad, "Sounds like a good idea!" I was suprised when England grabbed my hand, but I didn't want England to see me nervouse -though I was sure that me cheeks still turned slightly pink- so instead I engrossed myself in reading the information inside various display cases. Inside the largest of the cases there were fragments of shooting stars, along with screens showing video clips of the fiery rocks falling to the ground. In the middle there was a plaque title "The Legend of the Shooting Star". "Hey England, check this out!" I siad, pointing to it. "Its talking about where the whole thing about wishing on a shooting star origonated from."

(lol I accually can make some pretty good poems (only when I get a random burst of inspiration) I even wrote a song that is seposed to be sung by England about the Revolutionary War)

The post was edited 1 time, last by ~ ★☆คмєяιcค☆★~ ().

  • (XD in science I had to write a long letter to somebody as a different person about ice and what would happen if ice sunk. I did it as England to France.... it was a hilarious... yet mean letter XD!) (Thats really cool! I cant write songs... but I can sing.)

"Hmm?" I asked, looking up from a plaque on Haley's Comet. I shifted my eyes to the information, a look of wonder on my face. "This is really very interesting..." I mumbled, still reading and looking at pictures of the Shooting Star. I looked up at America. "Have you ever wished on a shooting star?" I tilted my head, the question loose and inviting for conversation because I didnt like just standing there quietly.

  • (Sorry, I thought I posted a reply but for some reason it didn't show up. T~T now I have to re-write it all.)

I smiled softly and said, "Yeah, when I was little. After you told me about it I was really excited about spotting one. So whenever you were gone I'd stay up as late as I could and look for one." I chucked at the memories. "I used to wish for such silly things, like 'please let it not be too rainy at England's house's or 'please let England cook something that's not Burt the next time he visits. Mostly I just wished for you to come back soon." I sighed, feeling a bit nostalgic. "Then...I grew up, and I realized that you can accomplish more by doing, not by wishing." I gave England a smile and said, "But ya' know, I think its good to have stories like that. They keep children's imaginations alive, and that's very important for the future."

  • (I was devastated thoroughly. XD) (omg. Learning Stand By Me on my electric guitar!)

I smiled a bit, looking over at him. "Making fun of my cooking again?" I chuckled, but nodded. "But I see your point," I looked down, gathering my words, and they came out before I could revise my reply. "Don't you think that sometimes wishing can get you places?" I paused, "that they make you strive to accomplish that one thing?" I asked, finishing my question.

  • You have an electric guitar?! Lucky! I want to learn how to play the guitar, but the closest thing I've got is the Rock Band game XD)

I laughed at England's first words and said, "Making fun of your cooking is one of my hobbies!" I listened to the rest of his words, and was thoughtful for a moment. "I guess that is true. I mean, usually if you don't want to do something, you can't. But doing is still a big part of it." I said -it seemed impossible to wipe the smile off of my face- then added, "So I guess in the end it works both ways." I stared at the case for another minute before saying, "You ready to move on, England? There's still plently more of the exhibit to see."

(And now excuse me, I have have to go do some research on star legends now cause I don't have enough creativity to make something up right now, unless you have an idea, whicj would be awesome. (Accually first I have to go make a gingerbread house with my big sister~))

  • (I bought it with 200$ of my grade money. And im an EXTREME amatuer.)

"Yes. Lets go." I nodded, looking around at interesting facts. Sometimes I flipped on some absolutely absurd people, who were rude to both America and I; I had a good time. I asked him questions, because he knew more about the things in the exhibit then I.

(Mmk, haha, I suck at making gingerbread houses. Im gonna probably go dye my hair. My mom screwed up on my highlights so I will probably go auburn orrrrrr dark brunette. Hmm.)

  • (Lol I don't even know where to get a guitar in my area ^_^")
(Ug, researching this is harder then I thought *rage quits* I'll just skip to a part that I planned to do later XD)

I smiled contently as England and I neared the end of the exhibit. It had been a very interesting and satisfying experience. There'd been breif presentations, videos, display cases of various star-related things, and lots of signs giving both facts and legend. Most of the facts I already knew about, but a lot of the legends were new to me. By the exit was a strange looking machine, the sign on it said:
"Star Fortunes; the stars hold the key to your next step in life..."
"Oh cool, its one of those weird fortune telling machines! Hey England, you wanna try? It only cost a quarter each." I said cheerfully.

  • (Ha! I hate researching altogether. Im doing a 5 paragraph report on Oxygen. Which is easy. I was given the choice of any element sooooo i chose the most known one XD)
(I bought mine at. . . . Like.... the music store I was renting my viola from for orchestra.)

"Sure, whats the harm?" I chuckled, offering him a random quarter. I waited for the fortune, half expecting it to be one of those ridiculous fortunes in chinese fortune cookies: ones that you would never take seriously. While I waited, I thought of the presentations in which I secretly stole glances at America. I felt my face heat up and knew I was blushing slightly.

  • (Lol
I know of a music store that's not too far from my house, it where I'd get my piano music)

"Thanks, dude." I said, grinning. These things were so cheesy, I really just use them to laugh at the completely random fortunes. I read the instructions then put the quarter in the coin slot. As instructed, I pressed my thumb onto the little censer. It lit up and a few seconds later it beeped. I removed my thumb and reached down to pull out the little slip of paper that had poled out of another slot. The piece of paper read:
"You have reached a very important part of your like, and romance is just around the corner. You are hesitant to continue, though, and feel unsure of what lays ahead. Don't be afraid! Everyone must step out of their comfort zones at some point in their lives. Just have confidence in yourself and it will lead you to the happiness of love."
My face heated up as soon as I finished reading the fortune. This...is just a coincidence, right? This isn't like any fortune I've ever read. I put the piece of paper in my pocket and hoped England hadn't seen my reaction to it. "You too, England! Its pretty neat." I said, trying to bring my face back to normal.

  • "Let me just see if this thing can be even remotely accurate," I chuckled, though I was confused by America's reaction to the fortune. There were romance fortunes all the time. . . I thought carefully. When I put my quarter in and pushed the button, it came out a few seconds later. I read it aloud:
"When you meet, they fill your eyes; When you part they fill your heart. You need only to understand that it is not necessary to understand." I tilted my head. "This is... complete rubbish....." I mumbled, no strength to my words like normal.

(Okaaayyyy apparently this came off of real fortune cookies, so dont blame me if I dont have any imagination and that its realllyy very corny. XD!!)

(Well, you can probably rent a guitar for maybe 30 bucks a month. But like... I just bought a beginners guitar for 199.99)
