I looked back at Emmy and Nile and snarled, they both recoiled and whimpered, crouching on the ground. I then turned back to the other Alpha and stood taller. "I apologize for the mistakes of my pack. I promise that I will not claim the girl once she has changed....if it works and she does not die..." I said, smirked, and turned, running off with Nile and Emmy.
It will only end up hurting you{O}{Need girl}

I growled and shifted again, standing next to Ryder. I kissed him and told him I was going to visit Maria in the hospital.
-
I moaned and blinked my eyes open, looking around. Doctors bustled around me and a nurse smiled at me. "You're going to be alright," she said, turning away. I rolled my eyes. Well of course I was going to be okay..., I thought to myself and stretched, rolling my ankles. I froze, waiting for the pain in my ankle, but it didn't come.
-
I was sitting in the hallway when they finally said I could go see her. Ironically, the last stuffed animal in the store wasa black wolf with green eyes like me.
-
I stared down at my ankle in surprise. The last time I check my leg was broken.... I looked up as the door opened and smiled at Lily, fighting off the flood of questions that wanted to come pouring out. "Hey," I said. I hadn't realized my voice would be so rough and weak.
-
I smiled. "Feeling better? I uh, got you this stuffed animal. Ironic huh?" I sat down next to the hospital bed and offered it to her. "Would you like me to call your mom?"
-
"Oh god no! She could probably care less anyways....thanks for the stuffed animal though," I said taking it and smiling. Suddenly a frown over tool my face and I looked up at her. "Will...will I turn into a Werewolf?" I asked, my voice shaking.
-
I nodded slowly. "Most likely. If not, the chances of survival are slim." I stumbled over my words, swallowing thickly.
-
I covered my face with my hand and sighed. "Oh god..." I mumbled, groaning. "I think I'm going to be sick..."
-
I look around and then phase back into a wolf and walk towards the river.
-
"I don't want to be a werewolf...," I murmured, tears burning behind my eyes.
-
I placed my hand on her shoulder for a second, giving it a slight squeeze, before leaving and heading back to the river. Seeing Ryder was still there I walked over and wrapped my arms around his thick fuzzy neck.
-
In stared after her and shook my head, laying my head down on the pillow and closed my eyes.
-
I look up at lily and then wag my tail. My gaze watches her.
-
I stood on my tiptoes so that I could wrap my arms around his neck and pressed my face into his fur. Soft, quiet sobs racked my body and silent tears streamed down my cheeks. It was my fault those wolves had gotten onto my territory. My fault Maria was in danger. My fault my fault my fault. Everything was my fault.
-
I phase into a human and wrap my arms around her small waist. I look at her with a concerned frown. "None of this is your fault." I whisper to her gently.
-
I lean my head on his shoulder, still shaking softly. "I'm the Alpha. It's my job to protect this town." I sniffle and close my eyes.
-
"You can't always be perfect. I should have been quicker." I say to her.
-
I sniffle again, my fist bunched up in his shirt. "We couldn't have stopped the anyway... She'd already been bitten."
-
"There is no stopping it. I'm sorry" I say to her as I hug her.
