With the plump rabbit in her mouth, she suddenly caught the scent of a vole. She buried the rabbit to eat later at the foot of a tree stump. Then, she crept up on the vole.

Maplekit woke up from her long dark sleep ."Where am I?"

Moonkit looked at the kits.

Autmnleaf realizing she had plenty of prey, she grabbed the vole and rabbit, and raced back to her kits.

IvyBlossom returned to the den and panicked when she heard movement in the cave. 'Did they awake and exit the cave?' she worried. Once she came to the entrance of the cave, she sighed in relief, after counting her kits to make sure she had them all. Then she saw an extra kit. Had she given birth to ANOTHER kit, and didn't know? She had heard the name Maplekit echo from the cave. 'Was this Maplekit?' she thought.

IvyBlossom tilted her head at the kit, wondering what to say. Instead of speaking, she set down her prey and ate, then she layed down welcoming her kits to snuggle with her and have her milk, glancing at the kit suspiciously. Finally, she asked "Where did you come from?"
