Loner crosses the border!

    New sents surrounded her. She padded around. Her dark, speckled fur blended in perfectly with the night forest. She walked, thats all she had ever done. She smelled cats. Her fur stood up on ends. She had crossed a border. What if they catch me? she thouht. She began backing up. 'She' was her name kinda. She had no name. Many cats she met would call her 'That cat' or 'That rouge.' But she liked to call herself Broken.. the name suited her. But she still didnt want to be caught. It was too dark to see anything, and all the new scents confuzed her. She climed a tree and lay down on a low branch. I'll wake up first thing in the morning. she promised herself.

    Darkclans newest Ranger, Stratosphereblaze had found a scent not far away as her defensive hormone kicked in as she stalked toward a large tree. The Blue Russian looked up at one of the branches as she spotted a cat, not of Darklclan resting upon it. "Hey!" she yowled in hopes of waking the loner up and talking some sense of clan borders into her brain.

    Maplewhisper sighted the sleeping she-cat. "What're you doing here?!" She exclaimed, looking up at the tree.

    She heard voices. Broken jumped, and almost fell out of the tree she was laying in. She had overslept. Broken looked down at the two cats. " I-I was just leaving!" She explained, afraid to go down jist to have her tail ripped off. She gulped.

    The blue Russian lashed out her tail from side to side as she slightly bared her teeth "You set one more paw across this border you'll be a pile of crow food!" hissed the Ranger menacingly. Stratosphereblaze was never this aggressive, but she had to protect and fend off her only home.

    Broken wasnt going to be told off by this warrior. "So why dont you carry me accross the border," she taunted, "if I cant take one more step!" She laughed. She wont come get me, her claws are way to flimsy! she joked in her head. Then anouther thought occured. Great, not Im stuck in this tree. Broken looked around, there where no other trees nearby... she began to think twoice about her smart comment.

    "Just so you know I'm not a warrior, but one of Darkclan rangers" she laughed as she hauled herself up to the loner with one push. A small smirk came upon on her face as she was four times stronger than the average warrior as she went through special hard core training to become this strong. Stratosphereblaze had landed on the branch that the trespasser was one as she really did not want to but would and could throw the loner out of the tree easily, breaking her neck with enough force.

    "Sorrry, warrior, ranger, same thing!" She had a plan. so what if your big and strong, it only counts if your fast and swift! she gatherd all her streanth and ran quickly to the end of the branch, then launched herself from the tree she was in, the the closest tree to her. She caught onto the tree by a claw., barely making it. She hauled herself up. Her claw was throbbing, but she didnt care. "Haha! Lets see ya make that jump Clan Cat!" She smirked. This was a game now, what fun! She got ready to jump to the next tree.

    Stratosphereblaze was laughing hard core inside Who does this cat think she is?! Jumping that is a walk in the park! she though. She leaned back on her hind legs and shot forward with two full strides and flew like an eagle to the other tree. "Give it up loner! I was trained to climb, hide, jump, fight, and hunt unlike any other cat. No matter what you do I can do better" she hisses, baring her teeth. The Ranger was beginning to get pissed off at this dumb loner, no one could defeat a clanner without getting a few bad wounds as they where trained, unlike loner, rouges, and stupid kittypet's. Stratosphereblaze was about done with this bull shit and really did not want to kill or harm this cat, but it seemed as if she has no choice.

    Broken could tell this cat wasnt kidding. She took a step back, " ok, ok, im going. " she turned around, "am i aloud to touch the ground?" She asked sarcasticly.

    The Russian blue raised her hackles a bit "How else are you going to leave?!" she snapped as she placed her only white paw in front of her. Stratosphereblaze never forgot a face as she narrowed her eyes and studied the loner for a moment so she could recognize the cat next time they met.

    Broken jumped down. Impressed by the cat's fearlessness. "How did you guys get so strong, and fast, and-" she cut herself off better get going, or these cats will have my tail. " See ya later Clan cats! Hey whats your names anyways?" She asked smiling. I aint afraid of you! she thought.

    The Ranger grunted a bit as she returned back to her normal non-aggressive state as she stared down at the cat from the tree "Stratosphereblaze" she replied with a stern voice. She inched her way to the end of the branch where she launched herself off, landing silently and softly a few yards away from the loner.

    " Cool!" She replied, all signs of hostility gone. "My names- uh.. " she tryed to think of a better name than Broken. She looked at her paws. "Er... Pebble...?" yeah, thats good.

    The ranger stared blankly at the she-cat odd name.. she though as she shrugged slightly. "You better leave before a patrol comes. Then you'll really be in for it" she growled as she wanted to sound unwelcoming instead of being all buddy-buddy.

    "See ya later Stratophereblaze!" What an odd name. she thought. But why did I say Pebble, uhg! What a dumb, kittypet name. she scolded herself.
