A slender shadow padded through the forest.

Spotstar lay on her den, peacefully sleeping with her head on her paws.

The cat carried a strong scent of rats, twoleg things, and smoke. He was a rogue from twolegplace.

Spotstar awoke from her short cat nap and stretched, yawning as she did so.

He neared the camp quietly.

Spotstar weaved her way into the center of camp. He padded out into the crisp fall air, brown and yellow leaves crunching as they crossed her path.

He poked his head into the camp. Cats!

Spotstar, not noticing the head poking through the camp entrance, poked at the Fresh Kill Pile, looking for something appetizing.

The season of Leaf-Bare has fallen upon the Kittypet warriors. All the cats stare in awe as the touch of the cold snow spooks them as well as the crunch of their paws pushing it to the ground.
