    "Oh,thank you Damon"she said.As she talked some misty smoke came from her mouth because it was very cold.Elena could see her house already.She took a few more steps and she touched the door handle."Thank you Damon"she smiled,maybe we could hang out sometime she thought.

    Elena waited a moment.She put her hand into his and shook it."Would you like to come in for a moment to get warm?"she asked.She opened the door."No on else is here"she said.

    Damon nodded. "Sure," he said. "That would be nice." He added. "Thank you." Damon went to the doorframe and stood there for a moment, looking inside Elena's home. He then stepped inside and smirked. "Nice place."

    ic;;"Oh well thank you"elena said."I should go freshen up"she said,starting to walk upstairs."come on"she said.

    Damon followed her. "You sure? I mean, I wouldn't want to impose." He said. "I could always wait downstairs for you."

    "No no!"she said."You can wait up here"she said.Elena walked a corner and into her room.She walked into the bathroom connected to her room.She turned on the water.She wet her face."I don't mind you up here"she giggled.

    Damon's icy blue eyes narrowed slightly at Elena's question. Being 172, he had to think of when he was first turned. "Twenty." He said, turning to look at her.

    "Oh nice!"she smiled,she opened her drawer and grabbed a light blue sweat shirt."I am 18"she said as she pulled it over her head.Her phone vibrated on her bed.She grabbed it and threw it back on her bed."Umm are you thirsty or hungry?"she asked.

    Damon looked at the phone and back at Elena. "Um, no. I don't eat or drink much." He said. "Who was that?" Damon asked, nodding toward the phone with a curious look on his face.

    "Hmm, you sure about that?" Damon questioned. He knew she was lying by the way she was reacting.

    "Its stefan"she blurted out."You need to hide"she said."Hurry come back in a hour"she said,she opened a window."Go out here and come back here"she said.

    Damon nodded before walking over to the window she was at. "I'll see you soon." He said before hopping out of the window like it was nothing. Damon landed on the ground below and quickly headed down the sidewalk, hands in his pockets.

    Elena heard a knock on the door.She sighed and went downstairs.She opened the door."Hi"she smiled,fake."Elena is something wrong?"he asked."No"she said."Well i texted you way before an hour ago"he said."I was walking home i left my phone here"she lied."Oh"stefan said."I was just worried"he said."Don't worry about me"she said,as wind blew hard."Ok well i should get going"he said."Ok bye"she said as she shut her door.She locked it and went up to her room.She layed on her bed thinking.
