He brightened a little. "I know, right? They're just - I mean, I don't get them! You know? I'm not ever going to have kits either!" Then he widened his eyes as if he realised he might've let too much out. "I-I mean, because, you know, no she-cat will ever love me." Then he sort of paused awkwardly and hoped Thorncalw wouldn't notice anything off. If he found out Firefly was gay, then he'd probably leave, quickly and disgustedly. And Firefly didn't want that.
