Dewshatter pelted off, ignored the fire hitting her pelt, and the oil she stepped in. Only one thing mattered now...
She finally made it back to camp. She didn't bother with calling,as Splotchpelt was comepletely deaf. Instead she looked around frantically for her mother, but she didn't see her.

Though she couldn't see or hear her daughter, she'd know that scent anywhere. "Dewshatter! Dewshatter, heeelp!"
-
A drop of oil fell in Spark's ear and burnt her eardrum. She screamed, clawing it out before it reached her brain. Her eardrum popped, splattering blood on her paw. She yelped, running to the nearest pond and sticking her head under.
-
"Everything will be fine," Hollypaw murmered to Wildkit comfortingly, though she was on the verge of tears, too. The whole Windclan had been torn to peices by the fire, and she could do nothing to stop it. Amberpaw began moaning, and Hollypaw looked down at her with concern. At least she was awake now. Another series of fire balls came pouring down on them, and nobody was hurt, though it was frightingly close. Hollypaw picked up Amberpaw noticing she couldn't get herself up and hauled her to Bloodclan with Wildkit right on their tails.
-
Spark gave up. She slept back to her mate, Ravenpaw, in his farm. They were willing to take anybody in. Barly greeted her happily and brought her to Ravenpaw, who gasped at the blood on her ear.
-
After the long trek, Hollypaw, Amberpaw and Wildkit reached Bloodclan's camp. She dropped Amberpaw slowly and licked her head between her ears. Hollypaw called to Wildkit and told her to go to the nursery to sleep. Then Hollypaw picked Amberpaw up and padded to all the small areas, wondering which was the apprentices' spot. Finally she reached one with smaller cats and heard one call another, "Darkpaw." Well, that was enough proof for her. She padded in with Amberpaw and dropped her on a small patch of grass. Then Hollypaw sat down for a second. She wanted to see the kits and see if all of them were there, so she got up and went over.
-
Spark winced as Ravenfeather cleaned her ears. Barley concerted her, licking her cheek.
-
Then Hollypaw remembered about Dewshatter. She was still out there, trying to find her mother. There would be a lot of trouble, and Hollypaw wanted to help them. She swiftly turned around and changed her course towards the forest, then crossed the river quickly. Soon she returned to the old Windclan camp. But it was to long gone. It was all just burning fire with a layer of oil and chocolate at the bottom. She could wail out loud at the waste. But there was no time. She had to get them out of camp before they burned up. "Dewshatter!" Hollypaw cried out. She began searching for either cat.
-
Spark felt awful. She wanted to help windclan by giving them a safe place to stay, with them they wouldnt be harmed.
-
The fire was getting larger. Hollypaw began to panic; it was getting harder to breath by the second. She needed to find them quickly, or they would all die. Time was running out; it seemed scarce at the time. Time is running out... running out, running out. Hollypaw thought, suddenly presuring herself. Tick... tock... tick... tock... Every second seemed to be worth a fortune. She ran around the fire at every opening she found, suddenly filled with fear. She grew dizzier and dizzier, wondering how Splotchpelt and Dewshatter were managing.
-
Dewshatter rushed towards her mother, grabbing her scruff. "It's okay," she meowed. "I'll get you out of here." She dragged her mother carefully through the fire.
-
Hollypaw ran into Dewshatter who was dragging Splotchpelt through the fire. "Your alive!" she gasped, using up the last of her fresh air. She began coughing, trying to gather more air to live. Then she coughed up a ball of blood, then stared at it in disbelief. "N-never mind..." she mewed, trying to sound confident. "We have to get her out of here." Hollypaw was shaking so violently, she herself thought she would collapse. But she pushed onward, leading a safer way out of camp.
-
"Wait..." Dewshatter said slowly. She got her mother's attention and mimed grabbing Hollypaw's scruff. She turned to Hollypaw. "I'm going to take you both. Let Splotchpelt get your scruff."
-
"No, really, i'm fine," Hollypaw protested. She could keep going. She wanted to get back, relying on nothing but her own paws and tough it out. Splotchpelt is who needs help. she thought. I can't be fussed over now. Many other cats are suffering more than me... So she just simply padded onward, swurving here and there.
-
Spark walked outside. A bandanna wrapped around her neck glimmered in the fire light. She waved her goodbye and set off.
-
"Fine," she conceded. "Just go. Don't worry about us." She pulled her mother along, the fire of determination burning brighter than the actual flames around them.
-
Splothpelt wheezed, and her wheze turned into a gasp as a fireball landed close to them.
-
Icepelt jumped at a screech from Gravelstar and cried out in alarm. Ice blue eyes pierced the den exited and enterance as she jumped up, suddenly full of energy she ran out of the warriors den. Her breath came in rapid gasps as she scanned the camp for cats in need of help. Before she could help anyone or run, a burning drop of fire hit down on her between her shoulders. She winced in pain. Then leaping across the camp lightly she landed calmly next to Gravelstar. "Gravelstar!" she yowled to her leader over the burning noise of the fire and the loud meows from her clanmates. She narrowed her shining bright eyes to see through falling fire. "gravelstar..." She mewed again quietly. "What is going on? what do we do? where to we go?" She calmly fired questions at her leader in hope to find out more about this unnatural event.
-
"O-ok..." This wasn't exactly what she had in mind, but she could manage. She heard Icepelt franticly call for help, and turned to find her. "Gravelstar is already at Bloodclan, with the rest of the clan," Hollypaw mewed. The smoke got thicker and harder to see through. "C'mon, we have to get out of here before we get blinded!"
-
Spark scowled as chocolate stuck on her fur. She hated it!
