Frogpelt nods and walks slowly back to Adderfang. "Okay, I'm ready!" he said to Adderfang. Then he turned to the other cat. "Are you sure Earthkit has to be looken after? Can't his mother do it? Not being rude or such, but... can't you come with us?" he asked, his eyes gleaming in the sunlight.

Then,out of the bushes comes a fawn tabby she-cat. She has white paws and a white spot on her chest. "Oh! I didn't see you there!" "I'm Fawnstep" She blushes

"Hello, Fawnstep!" Frogpelt mewed politely. "How are you today?" he asked. He opened his jaws to sniff the air. He could faintly smell vole by the bank of the river. He decided to leave it.

Frogpelt soon sniffs out a fat plump sparrow and a thrush that was rather scrawny, but would do. He stalks them quietly and then pounces, landing a perfect hit.
