    Amy opened her eyes.Only in half yet.With a stretch she sat up.Rubbing her eyes with her hand she slipped her slippers on.Getting to her feet she started smearing down towards her bathroom.as soon as she closed the door the yells of her father could be heard from downstairs.Since her mother's death he was often grumpy and was nearly always yelling.Often without a reason.With a sigh she tried to ignore them.It wasn't going too well.After a small moment she give up and walked out.Quickly she runned downstairs and found her dad in the living room.As he shouted some more she sighed and turned on her heels as he was finished."I'm going to be late to school" she mumbled and returned upstairs.She lopped down on her bed and buried her face in her pillow

    Tera ran up the steps and into Amy's room. "Get up! Were both going to be late and dad is going to be mad again!" She said quickly, with slight fear in her voice.

    Amy moaned and raised her head.Always her younger sister made her smile.Lumbering out of her bed she put on her clothes and quickly brushed her long blond,curly hair leaving her brush on the table.She got her school bag hanging on her shoulder in no time and smiled again as she looked down at Tera."Come on.Have you eaten yet?" she asked,brushing her hair with her fingers gently

    "Me too" Amy sighed."We'll grab an apple.Come on" Amy said and started walking downstairs.She knew Tera was following because of her light footsteps

    "Then hide behind me and try to cover your ears" Amy replied protectively.When they reached the ground floor she slipped between the living room door and went into the kitchen.She turned around in the door and signaled for Tera to do the same

    Amy smiled,hugging her lightly as she reached her.She quickly grabbed two apples and passed her own,biting into her own

    Tera smiled and bit into the apple. "Good apples." She said, and took another bite. She looked at the clock. "We have 15 minutes till we have to be at school.. I think."

    "Yes.You're getting better at it" Amy complimented before opening the back door for her.As usually she would ride her bike along with her

    Amy jumped on her bike.Not bothering to click on her helmet she started pedaling.Slowly so Tera could catch up

    Amy glanced at her and smiled."I'll always be there for you" she whispered
