Sharpkit, needing a mother!

    Sharppaw shoved the queens out of the nursery. "Go, for your kit's sake! Twolegs are going to destroy the camp!" He called. The queens rushed out.

    Mouse kit was one of the last four kits. She struggled against Mossystar's grip, mewling. "Let go of me! I can run faster if I'm not in your teeth!"

    Sharppaw grabbed her. "Run, Mousekit, run for your life. And StarClan's. Run past your mother, run as far away as you can. When you stop smelling HailClan, walk back until you do. Wait for us at the border." He instructed quietly in the kit's ear. "I'll be there, but I have to help the elders and queens and younger kits first." He meowed. The noise of twolegs was getting closer.

    Mousekit nodded and kept running. She stumbled on some roots and sprained her ankle. "Ow... I can't get up..." She moaned. (It really was hurt, she's not overreacting.)

    Mossystar remembered something. " Mousekit, after we're out, I need to do something. "

    Sharppaw raced to her. "Mousekit, are you okay?" Her ankle didn't look good. "Fox dung." He spat. "Freezeleaf! Over here! He called to the medicine cat. She looked at Mousekit. "I can't do anything right now but carry you." Freezeleaf sighed.

    Mousekit nodded. She was glad Freezeleaf was carrying her now. "It hurts." She complained. But then she was silent for a while.

    Ratleap saw Mousekit with Sharppaw, Freezeleaf, and Mossystar. Theres one more thing I have to do... Ratleap thought. He leaped into a tree, then a monster cut it down, and he was captured in a cage.

    When everyone was safe, Mossystar yowled " Let all cats who survived the monster attack join here under high-ledge! " When EVERYONE gathered, she continued. " Mousekit has sprained her ankle, and- " She broke off when she heard a distint yowl of fear and pain.

    Sharppaw looked around. Everything was in chaos. "Mousekit, you'll be okay. Just run as fast as you can. If you need help, Freezeleaf will carry you. Angelpaw, can you run, or do you need me to drag you?"
