As suggested by the title, this is a love-story. Your character and Nat, my character, attend Rustbelle High, a state of the art Boarding School with large dorms, a well established School. Behind the School is a forest and even further, a beautiful lake.
Your character and Nat meet somehow and it's like love at first sight, though it takes a few encounters for them to realise and come to terms with it.

  • Yeah sure! :)

Nat flew upright in shock, throwing the duvet from his bed. He'd been having nightmares every night now for a while now and strangely, it was always the exact same dream, repeating itself as if trying to tell him something. Deciding to to push the thought to the back of his head, he turned to check his alarm. 8:47, it read and School was due to start up again at nine. Groggily stepping out of bed, he made his way into the bathroom of the rather large dorm room, to have a quick shower, not caring much about being late on the first day after the Summer holidays.

  • Nova groaned as she opened her eyes to see the bright sunlight flooding her dorm room. She pushed the blankets away and stumbled out of the warm, cozy bed. Sh hurried to the bathroom and took a quick shower. After, she got dressed and grabbed her bag.

  • Walking out of the steaming room, with nothing but a towel on, Nat strolled to his wardrobe, in the usual search for something to wear. He pulled out a pair of loose, black jeans, a white tee with an emerald-green design printed onto it and a pair of black vans, as if to match. He threw them on, glancing at the clock once more, to read 8:58, before he grabbed a white hoodie and headed out the door.

  • Nova hurried to the cafeteria where she would be having her breakfast from now on. She glanced at the food lining the right wall of the large building. She quickly found a seat, in a small corner. She sat down, waiting for the other students to arrive so that breakfast could begin.

  • As if by a miracle, Nat pushed his way through the main doors of the School the moment the bell sounded, signalling the beginning of the day. He hurried into the Canteen, keen on seeing the breakfast menu for the year. Only a handful of people occupied the available seats of the dining hall and the Cafeteria ladies had just set down the last tray of freshly-made food to the right, and now awaited the arrival of the hungry students. Glancing around the hall, to see if he recognised any familiar faces, Nat set his eyes upon Nova and his heart began to perform flips.

  • Nova sighed quietly to herself and she brushed the hair away from her face. She looked at a few kids entering the building, then her eyes landed on Nat. She caught her breathe and held it as she stared at him then quickly looked away.

  • Quickly turning on his heels, Nat headed toward the neat stack of trays. What was that?, he questioned himself, surprised at his unexpected reaction to seeing the girl. Steadying his heart rate, he plucked a tray from the pile and slid it along the rails, placing some croissants, milk and fruit on the clean surface.

  • Nova slowly stood up and walked over towards the food. She grabbed a tray and got a simple apple and an orange.

  • Nat placed himself a few rows away from the girl and began eating. Every so often his eyes would discreetly trail from his food to Nova, only to be scolded by himself for acting like a love-struck puppy. Finishing the filling meal, Nat quickly made his way over to the rubbish bin, emptied the contents of his tray, and left it in the used section. With a last glance behind him, Nat revelled at the sight of Nova's face and exited the hall, now headed toward his locker as the first class would soon start.

  • Nova had eaten her food quite quickly. She threw the remains away then put the tray where it belonged in the used section. She exited and headed towards the lockers.

  • Pulling out his books for the first few periods, Nat closed the door of the locker shut and turned quick on his heels. He made his way into the Science lab after finally decoding his timetable and realised that not many people were there yet. Relieved, he strolled to the back of the room and took his seat.

  • Nova sighed quietly to herself. She hurried to her first class which was surprisingly Science lab. She took a seat and and glanced out the window. The sunlight flooded the medium sized room. Her eyes sparkling brightly.

  • Nat quickly glanced up as footsteps became audible strolling into the room. With great surprise, he spotted the girl he'd seen earlier in the Canteen and felt the fire rush to his cheeks. He picked up his Chemistry book and opened it vertically, hiding his face as she walked. Just then, the bell sounded, signalling the beginning of the first class and the Chemistry teacher, Mrs O'Brien, rushed through the doors with contagious exuberance.

  • Nova took out her book and turned to page 12. She glanced at the words filling the pages and grabbed her pen. She dotted down a few notes then glanced up at the teacher. She had noticed Nat, but was to shy to look at him.

  • The class passed monotonously, consisting of Nat scribbling down notes from the board, ominously tapping his pen off the edge of the table, chronically shaking his right leg up and down and stealing quick glances at Nova. So when then bell rang, he let out a sigh of relief, as he packed his materials back into his bag.

  • Nova put her things into her bag as the bell rang. Finally she built up enough courage to glance at Nat. She held her breath as she stared at him, then looked away.
