  • Striving for Acceptance

You are an 8th grader and for whatever reason, society has rejected you. You go to Terryweather International Boarding School. Terryweather accepts transfers from around the world, giving it a diverse background. Maybe you aren't a reject though. So, do you side with the rejects in secret? Or do you mock them for standing out? If you're a reject, do you embrace it? Or do you hate your social status?

  • Johnathan stayed at the back of the hallways, brushing his hair back with his fingers. He stayed at the back of the crowed, so as he wouldn't be noticed. A slight growl in the back of his throat at the snooty kids would have been just enough to set one off. Though he'd be the winner in that fight,

Angel walked with some girls, laughing and carrying on just to get a glimpse of the boy. She frowned, sad to see him go through what she did. "What ARE you doing!?" One of the girls asked. "Don't tell me YOU feel sorry for THEM!?" "No.. I.. No, I don't." Angel said, looking back. "Good." They snorted.

  • Amiya brushed past some of the regular people, the ones who didn't hate her, but didn't like her either. They were the ones you didn't have to look out for. "Jonathan?" Amiya said in a small voice, coming up behind the boy.

Cason sat in one of the empty classrooms, sitting at the front and looking down at one of his many books.

  • James Geraint stood in the library, staring at the shelf, his sister, Jane crept up behind him, "What y'doing?" She asked.
"Staring at the shelf." James replied as if it was the most ordinary thing in the world.

  • Cason pushed one of his smaller books around with a pencil. After reading this book for the third time that month, Carson was getting rather bored with it.

  • Jane sighed and took her I pad out of her bag, with a few taps of the screen and plugging in her headphones she was lost in Star Trek while leaning against the wall.

  • [align=center][color=black][size=10][font=andale mono]Karma, or as she liked to be called, Anne, opened her locker and a note fluttered to the floor. She sighed and picked it up off her shoe.

"нey, ĸarмa, yoυ мιѕѕed ѕoмe people. тнey're called тнe rejecтѕ. нeard oғ 'eм? oн, ι ғorgoт, yoυ are one,"
it read. A couple of snickers were set off behind her and her head whipped around to see some popular girls snickering behind their hands. She glared and clenched her fists. calm down she thought. don't forget to take your pill for the hour. no need to let your anger control you and stab some random popular girl with your jewelry. just calm down and take your pill. She sighed and reached into her bag and took out her pills. She took one out and shoved it in her mouth.

  • Carson picked up his books and his bag and walked off to his locker. He was so intent upon one of the pages he'd just read that he didn't realize there was someone in front of him. His books fell from his arms and he looked up to see Karma in front of him. "I-I'm really sorry," he said in a small voice as he knelt down to pick up his books.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][color=black] Ashten walked in late for school, and he knew he only had so much time to get to his locker. But he didn't really care. He looked around him quickly before heading over to his locker and putting in the lock number before opening it quickly. He looked through his stuff while taking off his jacket and then grabbed his books for half his day.

Johnathan looked back at the sound of his name, and saw Amiya. He had vaugley known her. She was a reject, like him. He lightly smiled. "Heh, Hi." Then the faint smile turned into a cheshire one. "Want me to beat up somebody for ya? I'm open for the day." He snickered, his eyes gleaming.

  • Amiya laughed and shook her head. "I think I'm capable of beating people up on my own," she joked. She noticed Ashten and yelled, "Hey Ashten!"

[align=center][color=black][font=andale mono][size=10]She bent down and helped him pick up his books. "No problem," she said, feeling rather calm after her pill, "I'm Karma, but I'd prefer you call me Anne. What's your name?"
