Bluestar wouldn't have given up Mistyfoot's and Stormfur because she didn't need to be deputy. It would have been Thistlestar instead of Bluestar, and he wouldn't have asked Firestar to join, which means the fire prophecy wouldn't be fulfilled, Leafpool and Squirrelflight wouldn't have been born, and lots of stuff in the books past the ones we're talking about,
