Ash picked up her stuff and got up.

Trey slowly made his way over to Ash and smiled. "Um ha.. Hi. Um I'm Trey." He said.

Ash looked up,not sure if he was talking to her or not."I'm Ash."she said quietly.

He smiled a bit "I noticed you in my math class and I kinda wanted to talk to you."

"Oh....."Ash said suprised that anyone would want to talk to her.

He nodded a little "Yeah, so maybe we could hang out... After school?" He asked.

"I don't know...."Ash said.She looked at her feet nervously."Why would he want to hang out with me?"she thought."I'm like a nobody....."

Trey's smiled turned into a frown and he looked away. "Oh... Okay." He felt a little disappointed she said that. He turned around walking out the door.

As he started to leave Ash called,"Let me think about it okay?I don't know if I'm doing anything or not."

He smiled a bit looking back "Okay. Um so I'll see you around." He replied than turned back leaving out the class.

Ash nodded and walked out of the class room.She headed to her locker.

Trey headed to lunch as a few friends joined him.

Ash put her stuff away and pulled out her lunch box.She headed to lunch quietly.

He sat down eating some of his sandwich when Alex brought up Trey playing the guitar and the music sheets. "So what's up with the music crap? What football player dances, sing lat alone play the guitar?" He laughed. The guys laughed patting Trey on the back as he turned red.

Ash walked into the lunchroom and sat alone.She opened her lunch box and started eating her lunch.

They continued to mess with him until he couldn't eat anymore and his face was bright red. Alex laughed putting a football on the table "This is what you do. Learn it, love it, live it." Alex said taking Trey's guitar and walking to the trash can. "Hey! Stop! Give it back!" Trey yelled as people turned their heads looking at him. Alex shook his head than broke it over the trash can. Trey's eyes widened and his heart dropped.

Ash watched wishing she could do something about it.She got up slowly and walked over to them.What she was about to say she thought she'd never say to anyone."You know your not nice.Just because he likes music doesn't mean you should go around breaking guitars.If Bast were here she'd probably send black cats after you and then they'd give you bad luck."she said.

They only gave her a weird look than laughed "Whatever dude. Leave us alone." Alex said and patted Trey on the back. A ter rolled down his cheek as he looked at the broken pieces "That was my moms... She gave it to me before she died!"
