  • "Gravelstar," she hissed menacingly, "if you don't leave, you will be breaking the warrior code."

  • Gravelstar was not impressed by the she-cat trying to be scary. "You're the one breaking the Code and cats who take it too seriously are morons. I'm a leader, and I am tiring of you. You insult me and then you refuse to let me pass on a diplomatic mission? You really need to learn both your place and your manners. It seems your mother didn't teach you well, you behave like a bratty child. ThunderClan and WindClan are allies and it seems you do not know what that means. I am going to see Sorrelstar, as a leader of WindClan it is my right," Gravelstar growled. She was getting to that camp one way or another. How dare this warrior act like she was on the same level as she was, speaking to her in that disrespectful tone. Next time ThunderClan needed her help, she concluded, she wouldn't even bother. Not if this was the sort of thanks she got.

"You, other ThunderClanner, how dare you unsheath your claws at an allying Clan leader. As I said, I'm not here to fight. I'm going to visit Sorrelstar." She raised her head with an annoyed sniff. These cats were idiots, how did Sorrelstar deal with them?

"One of you will escort me, or I will escort myself." She walked past Moonflower. It was taking all her willpower not to just slap the damn she-cat here and now. If her own Clanmates dared speak that way to another leader she would have hit them.

  • Moonflower hissed and turned tail, acting like she retreated. But really, she went and talked with Sorrelstar. "WindClan is on our terrioroty without an escort! She keeps using the "allies" excuse.

  • Benniejet had been given a lead to some idiot halfbrained cat trying to cause trouble, the THunderclan deputy stormed into the area. "Thunderclanners get back home now, you all have apprentice duties for the next SIX moons if you're warriors and if you're apprentices you're going to be kits for the next three moons, and if you keep fighting you're going to be exiled." She growled.

  • "Shove off," Spiderpaw snapped at her stupid Clanmates. Didn't they understand how anything worked? This was a leader they were speaking to. As if the Clans didn't fight enough, now they were challenging their superiors? Back when she led the Clan, no warrior would have treated another leader like this without serious repricussion. That thought confused her though...she was but a mere apprentice, why did she have so many dreams of leading the entire Clan? She must be crazy. "I apologize, Gravelstar, for my bafoons of Clanmates. Let me escort you." No sooner had the words exited her mouth than Benniejet came into the seen, punishing the Warriors. Good! She smiled at her mentor.

  • Gravelstar was glad when Moonflower left, and she glared after the insolent she-cat wishing only the worst to befall her. She was even gladder when Benniejet appeared. "Oh, good," she sighed, her frown easing up. "I apologize, this wouldn't have happened if my own damn Cats hadn't decided to try and steal territory from your Clan. Luckily I was in the area to put a stop to it. All my cats who were involved in this mess have been exiled, to be killed upon return.

Goldfire, the leader of this patrol, said that he was forced into attacking ThunderClan because RiverClan was making him, and then he and some of your warriors began talking of attacking and spying on RiverClan, and tried to get me involved in it. So I told them off, and your warriors began to insult me. I don't know if you saw the she-cat who just left, but she needs to learn her place, and fast." She rolled her eyes and huffed. "Goldfire said he wanted to join ThunderClan, spouting something about me being a terrible leader," she shrugged. "So I wanted to come and report this entire thing to you or Sorrelstar, apologize for my idiot Clan and to warn you not to accept Goldfire into your Clan. He'd likely lie about who he was, and I figured you ought to know. But that she-cat wouldn't let me pass.... I'm glad you're here, it was getting sickening."

  • ooc: it won't let me edit :/

She turned to Spiderpaw. "Thanks, anyway," she meowed, having forgotten to respond to her when Benniejet appeared.

  • Benniejet nodded, "I don't know what's into cats noaways, I'll admit I haven't seen Sorrelstar around lately, I think she may be sick, but I think cats don't approve of the oath and so they decided to have their own wars." She mewed with a shake of her head, "I'll make sure he doesn't join, I think its about time that all the leaders meet up again, we need to check up on each other."

  • goldenclaw ran up.' that is not what happened. i admit we traded a few insults, but we said nothing of an attack.i said we should check to see if it's true, before pushing the possible threat away.'

  • Spiderpaw glared at the tom. "What you're talking about is deceit. Spying and creeping around like you're a rat! It's no better than an attack. If Sorrelstar or Gravelstar had an issue with RiverClan, they could be actual leaders and go talk to Dawnstar or Rangerstar. You don't know anything about leading, so just go away."

  • 'i am more experienced than you. you have no reason to speak like so to me.' the she-cat, Goldenclaw turned to the other two.' i never said we would attack. it's simply not a good idea to refuse to look into a possible threat. better safe than sorry.' she said head held high, taking a moment to look each cat in the eye.

  • 'let her speak. she has more authority over you, Windclan or not.' i said crossly to her.

  • "You're an idiot," Gravelstar said plainly to Goldenclaw. "Cats who have no idea what they are talking about would do well to shut up. As it is, it appears this apprentice has more sense than four of you warriors combined. She's right, you have no idea what it is to lead, so don't think you an hold your own in a conversation between leaders." She hissed. "You're not good at listening either. This apprentice said nothing about ignoring a possible problem. She said that we leaders can do it ourselves, because we have a trust and we're not gullible fools who'll jump at any rumor at all. Listen up you damn brat. Me, Sorrelstar, Benniejet and the other leaders and deputies know Rangerstar and Dawnstar better than you common warriors do, since we actually speak to them regularly and all. I'd be willing to bet you haven't even been in the same den as the other Clan leaders, so when you go and start accusing them of stuff, without knowing who they are, it really fucking pisses me off."

She turned to Rosebramble with a raised brow. "Excuse me? Back up, I can take you down in two seconds flat, not to mention I'm a leader. So show some damned respect. Not only that, but I'm taking to Benniejet here. You know, your deputy, and she's letting me be here. I'm currently a guest, so why don't you just go away. The cats who matter are trying to have a conversation." That idiot didn't have any authority to tell her to get off their territory.

"Hmph, Benniejet, I feel bad that you have lead this Clan, with cats like these," she commented curling her lip in distaste at Goldenclaw and Rosebramble. "What kind of warrior has less sense than an apprentice? That's backwards!"

  • "Goldenclaw I'd think twice before speaking to my apprentice like that again." Benniejet snapped glaring at the warrior. "All of you who participated in this raid, or attack, whatever it may be have apprentice duties for the next six moons, you obviously need to relearn what your mentors forgot to teach you." She then turned to Gravelstar and nodded, "It's a bit hectic, the other deputy hasn't been around lately, and Sorrelstar, I don't know where she is. I've heard that someo f our cats have attacked Shadowclan too..It's a mess."

  • "Get off our territory," Rosebramble meowed again, unafraid of the foolish leader. "Gravelstar, you are tresspassing, and I agree with your deputy. You really have no need to talk to Sorrelstar. She mst not be disturbed. Come to think of it, I think that she is on a trip to share tongues with StarClan with our medicine cat."

  • "You idiot I am your deputy and I am ordering you to leave Gravelstar alone." Benniejet, the thunderclan deputy said with a growl before aiming to whack the warrior on the head, nothing harmful just to get the message across. "Now get your tails back to camp."

  • "No, she meant no harm," Moonflower meowed. "She was just backing you up."
"I'm deeply sorry," Rosebramble meowed. "We'll get to camp. I need to train my apprentice, anyway, and Moonflower must get to her kits."

  • Gravelstar sneered at Moonflower and Rosebramble before turning to Benniejet. "Well, I hope Sorrelstar is alright. ThunderClan kind of has bad luck with leaders these days, don't you?" It wasn't a jab, just an observation. It seemed like ThunderClan went through leaders much faster than the other Clans did. "I wonder if it has to do with cats like that. They didn't even know who their deputy was, how hopeless can you get?" She shook her head. "Honestly if it were me... well, I can't blame you guys if you get so burned out. You know what works for me when my cats act up? Calling the whole Clan out in the middle of the night, especially when it's really cold, and then just start lecturing them and calling them stupid. Some cats just need information pounded into their head. And the well behaved cats'll get angry at the misbehaved cats for misbehaving. Once you crack down hard like that they tend not to want to test you again."
