Another kit was on the ground after a minute and then the last one. Dapplewhisker licked the kits and put them at her stomach. She curled her tail around them and looked at them.

A dark cat appeared behind him and Dapplewhisker looked up. She looked into the cats eyes and disappeared as soon as the Tom disappeared. The kits wailed for their mother but she didn't reappear. She was gone!

The Tom reappeared but Dapplewhisker wasn't with him. He grabbed the kit and set them on his back and disappeared. The kits were gone too!
