If you'd like some free FeralFront memorabilia to look back on fondly, see this thread from Dynamo (if this message is still here, we still have memorabilia): https://feralfront.com/thread/2669184-free-feralfront-memorabilia/.
• I'll put all my characters in this thread as I come up with them (they'll mostly be horses, I think). Each character will have his or her own post within the thread unless there are characters that go together, and even then, they might have separate posts.

• Name: Miasma
Sex: Mare
Age: 6
Breed: None exactly, she's a mutant
Coat Color: Dark purple I guess... She is translucent; she appears to be made out of a sort of swirling miasma, hence her name.
Eye Color: Bright green with a hint of a glow
Facial Markings: None
Leg Markings: There's translucent pink feathering on her legs, but no markings
Body Markings (if any): None
Mane and Tail Color: Pink and translucent, like her body and leg feathering
Reference Pic:
History: Like many other wild horses, Miasma was born in a herd to a mare of no particular pedigree, but her mother's pregnancy with her made the poor mare very ill, and it was only moments after Miasma's birth that the poison vapors she emits killed her mother. The rest of the herd fearfully kept their distance after seeing that, and upon hearing the whispers about the 'miasma' wafting from her, she took that as her name. It wasn't long before the herd took off, leaving her behind, certain that she would simply die without a mother, and thus would no longer be their problem. Frightened and alone, the newborn cried out over and over for help, and eventually a unicorn stepped out of the tree line. She had recently lost her own baby, and her heart went out to this little one. Using her magic, she was able to raise this unusual filly, but it slowly wore on her, and after a little over four years, she too died of Miasma's poison. Miasma was on her own again, but this time she was an adult and able to take care of herself.
Personality: Miasma is not evil, but she is jaded, she hates what she is, and she's angry at her lot in life and herself as well for all this, even though none of the harm she causes is intentional. Non-magical animals die almost instantly around her, and magical ones are slowly poisoned to death, making her unable to get close to others, and leaving her antisocial and bitter. She does not know why she is the way she is, and sullen and lonely she is in a constant state of heartache. She wanders aimlessly through life, brooding and wishing she were not the walking death sentence that she is.
Extra: Her organs are completely transparent which is why they can't be seen through her translucent skin. What is seen is the swirling purple gas that's just under her skin. That gas is what gives her body that dark purple color; were it not for the gas, her body would be pink like her mane, tail, and leg feathering, however, once the gas is exposed to the outside air, it too turns pink. Speaking of the gas, while it does escape through glands in her skin, it is her mane, tail, and leg feathering that waft it around. Without her poison gas, though her eyes would still be glowy green, she'd look like this , as previously described.

• Name: Flare
Sex: Mare
Age: 6
Breed: Kinsky
Coat Color: Chestnut
Eye Color: Brown
Facial Markings: Short blaze
Leg Markings: High sock on left front
Body Markings (if any): None
Mane and Tail Color: Rust
Reference Pic:
Personality: A sweet and nurturing young mother, Flare is very attentive to her colt, Tusk, but she's also spirited and energetic, sometimes feeling tied down by her baby. Being a mother has also made her more wary of things than she was before she had her foal, when she used to live with a sort of reckless abandon. Now she can be a bit of a worry wort, and is not as quick to trust as she once was; she has a foal to look out for after all.
History: For the majority of her life previously, all she knew was the herd of wild Kinskies that she was from, and it was herd life as usual. It was also inevitable that she eventually would get pregnant, as herd mares do. And she did. That pregnancy resulted in Tusk. She named him Tusk because his color reminded her of the tusks of beasts she would see around. It was only a few days after her colt was born that a younger stallion defeated the head stallion of her herd. Right away, she knew she did not like him, and when she saw her chance, she took her foal and fled. They have been wandering for two months now.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Tusk
Sex: Colt
Age: Two months
Breed: Kinsky
Coat Color: Pearl
Eye Color: Brown
Facial Markings: Short crooked blaze
Leg Markings: none
Body Markings (if any): Brownish soft edged, downward pointing arrow with a dot behind it, on his left flank.
Mane and Tail Color: Blond
Reference Pic:
Personality: Curious and playful, like most foals, but sometimes one can see a certain edge to him. He wants to be a tough and brave stallion, and wants to look after his mother, rather than have her look after him, and he can't seem to understand why she seems to just shake her head in amusement at that, and merely brush it off. He's intelligent, and with a young and impressionable mind like his, he seems to absorb everything. He even seems proud when someone mentions something along those lines.
History: With only two months of life behind him, he doesn't have much of a history.

• Name: Dark Symphony
Sex: Mare
Age: 8
Breed: American Mustang
Coat Color: Silver Dapple Black
Eye Color: Brown
Facial Markings: A pink diamond shaped snip on her muzzle, and a short white stretched oval blaze in the middle of her face.
Leg Markings: Low socks on the rear legs.
Body Markings: Faded dapples on her middle and rear.
Mane and Tail Color: Platinum blond
Reference Pic:
Personality: This stocky, fourteen hand mare is well aware of her somewhat small stature, and being the pensive type, it's one of the things she ponders the reason for, seeing as her parents were larger mustangs. She is very intelligent, and has come to some answers on her own, but that still doesn't stop it from being a frequent topic of thought. Also quite lazy, and somewhat antisocial, an energetic romp with others, for example, is something she would be highly unlikely to join in. On the other hand, this calm horse is quite easygoing, and even just as brave, giving her nature a unflappable quality that can be quite sought after. Because of this, though she's not a leader or a follower, her lack of stubbornness makes her a cooperative horse as well. Physically, all her stats exceed the average. She's strong, she's fast, she's agile, her endurance will keep her going, and her overall constitution is amazing.
History: Dark Symphony was born wild, and she was only about three when she was captured. Because of the way she is, the awful process of breaking her fortunately didn't take too long, though it left her bitter and unwilling to trust anyone, horse or human, for quite some time. She was put up for auction many times over the next few years, and the people she ended up with were always the same, so she ended up adopting the attitude of "it doesn't matter anyway" until the second to last time, to date, that she was auctioned off. This time, at about six years old, she was purchased by a different kind of human than she was used to. One that was kind, gentle, and understood her and the other horses there like no human she had ever encountered. In her two years there, she had tentatively learned to trust again, and knew she had found her permanent home. However, she was wrong. A fire suddenly engulfed the stables, and though all the horses were safely led out, many humans were badly hurt as a result. Dark Symphony's human was one of them. She saw her human, groaning in pain, being wheeled on a gurney into an ambulance. The next day, she and many of the horses were taken to auction. She did not want to go through the auction process again, and she didn't believe she would ever find another place or person like the ones she had just been taken from, so she broke free and didn't stop for anyone or anything, and that's where things stand now.

• Name: Artsy Heart
Gender: Female
Race: Unicorn
Appearance:
Cutie Mark:
Talent: Art and creativity
Personality: Artsy is sometimes a tad shy at first, but once beyond that, she's friendly and gregarious, and at times even playful and silly. She is kind and loyal, which makes it easy for her to make and keep friends, but because she's on the intelligent side, she prefers to be around those who can match or exceed her a bit in that area. Patient and able to tolerate almost anything, one won't find her easily upset. Due to a side of her that is somewhat introverted, she does need to be by herself from time to time. All in all, she's just a nice pony.

• Name: Sootpaw
Gender: Male kitten
Appearance: (eyes are blue, paws are gray, upload killed the quality)
Personality: Sootpaw is a curious and outgoing, affectionate and playful kitten. However, he is not yet a brave tom, and can be easily frightened.
History: His mother was a feral cat, and he was one of a litter of three. When he was playing, he wandered a little too far, and he was picked up by a human with a catch pole (though it wasn't needed on him) and brought to the pound.
