Katie stood in line with her fellow privates. She was the only female in this line, and she was the smallest. Her long hair pulled tightly into a bun under her cap. The commander walked down the line and told each private something in their ear. When he stopped in front of her he smiled and stepped forward, and said something that she knew he didn't say to any other private.
