Falling into a sleep where Lae was casted off ino the dream realm. Breathing normally and deeply her body twitched as her amber and blue eyes opened up to a beautiful meadow before her filled with daisey's tulips and baby's breath. Inhaling the lovely scent flicked her doe ears. Casting her gaze around could tell she was far off the ground. Taking a few steps forward could feel her slender legs wobble but were somehow steady. Letting out a huff of air she began to prance through he meadow, her naturally gentle self enjoying the air she could feel against her very thin fur. Everything seemed to be at peace except one thing, one of the flowers was dying. Moving closer to it, peered down at it as confusion swept over the graceful animal.

A sudden thought occured to her. Virrizin focused her gaze on her leader and ever so slightly tilted her head to the side. "Do I need to go through a ceremony to prove my authentication as Spade?" she said to him. "I wouldn't want to miss out on anything importa-" The vixen's sentence was cut short as yet another bloody spasm occurred. Her pelt stood on end as she barely managed to stifle another bloody cough. She swallowed, expertly avoiding a gasp of pain as she painfully re-ingested the blood. She covered her mouth with a paw and let out a sigh. "I will see to it that I get myself some Tansy. My sore throat is really beginning to agitate me." she lied smoothly. "Perhaps it's the changing of the seasons? Lately, the weather's gotten chillier."

  • OOC: Haha, Twilight XD

IC: Fae looked after Virrizin, no worry clouding her gaze this time around. Something was not right with her chosen sister, but she would never doubt her ability of dealing with it or her talents in the health department, for that matter. Virrizin's movements didn't cost them much as far as the hunt was concerned - the rabbits were in their place, nibbling away at the grass.
Fae had never gone for two victims at the same time, but she had, well, had had a team before Virrizin found something better to do.
Tyrone was still there, however, so the vixen's leave changed little. We had better do this right. She thought as she started inching forward. She paused every once in a while, raising her head above the withering grass to check on the two rabbits. They were just as careful as she was, checking their surroundings regularly as they ate, ears pricked and eyes scanning the area with professionalism.

They just had to be smoother, quicker, smarter. Not an easy way around it, but it was the thrill of the hunt, the challenge of it all that made the vixen block everything else around her when she set out on such an adventure. She flicked her tail, exchanging a fast glance with Tyrone. Things had changed. She was going to catch one on her own and hopefully be fast enough to drive the second rabbit straight towards Tyrone so he could make his move. In the confusion and panic, they would have the upper hand.
She sprung. It wasn't long until the rabbits did the same.

  • Not quite catching her gaze in time, he came to his senses right in time to see the Fae spring at the rabbits and them take off in a mad dash for their lives. Not wanting to screw this up, and wanting to impress Fae, he ran right after them, hoping for once that he could hunt right when his dignity depended on it.

    ((Teehee ^^))

A slight change in the wind prompted both her ears to perk up. The sound of scurrying feet a hushed yips were carried to her sharp ears. The hunt had begun. Virrizin worried if whether or not she'd have stayed with Fae and Tyrone. She wanted to help, but missing the chance of finding strawberries was too good a find to pass up. The vixen tuned out the sounds the wind had brought to her, whispering a silent thank you to her friend in the process. She turned back to Zane, patiently awaiting his response to her question.

    ooc: Welcome back, Piccolo! :D

  • OOC: Thank you kindly! Sorry for being an absentee.

He hadn't seen her. He had missed her gaze. But she couldn't let that bother her. He had reacted fast enough. In the long run, he could still prove successful - this whole hunt could still prove to be worth their while. She smiled at the thought of bringing two rabbits back to camp. They would feed them some and considering the remaining prey in camp, they should be set for at least a couple of days, should there be any need for them to start rationing the food.

Paw stretched, the vixen managed to trip her victim. She bit down hard, snapping the neck of the squirming rabbit, giving it a fast and painless death. She didn't know if it was Virrizin's way of thinking rubbing against her, or there was some sense of empathy in her own heart that made her unable to stand cries of pain or despair for too long, but she had to deal with it as quickly as possible whenever the situation arose.

-Taking a monent to filter through every single type of ceremony there was to offer the todd shook his head. Speaking in a light voice he heaved himself to his paws, his eays glazing over in temporary pain- There is...but. Virizzin you hold a narural talent of healing, and not just physical wounds. I watched as you spoke to those frightened badgers. It was if you were mending their faith...their spirituallity. With that said I am willing to bypass your test. I believe that.. -Cutting himself short at her berrage of coughs, the sulk leader flattened his ears looking quiet worried. After she took the time to compose herself he questioned her in a tone laced with softness- Are you sure you're alright?

  •

His question was met with a kind, loving smile. Virrizin eyed him carefully before slowly shaking her head. "I'm as well as I need to be." she told him gently, her voice exhuming the same tone of caring mother. "You don't have to worry one bit about me. I'll get by. You on the other hand," Virrizin gently nudged him with her tail. "have to refrain from standing for at least a couple more hours. Be merciful to your fore paws." The Spade let herself chuckle. Yes, this position felt just right. She would dedicate the rest of her short life to heal those in pain, in all aspects.

Virrizin, though still a bit numb from her cough, was sure she felt a warm sensation in her chest. It was a feeling of happiness and authentic joy. "Why don't we have some small talk? The time will pass by faster that way." she suggested, her ears pricking up with interest.

  • The rabbit was fast, but he was slightly faster. He panted, his paws pounded hard against the earth, scattering leaves and other ground debris behind him. The rabbit was heading straight for its burrow, but he leaped for it right before it got there. Unfortunately he missed the killing bite, and they both went flying from the impact. He went rolling in the dirt, the rabbit went tumbling in the air. It landed on the ground, hard, and laid there stunned for a moment. He got up and looked around madly for the rabbit, running after it as it took off again. Its leg was hurt from the fall, so Tyrone caught it easier this time. He tripped it with his paw, and held it still with his paw while he delivered the killing bite. He stood over it panting, thankful for the life that would help feed his new family, and also grateful that he caught it, despite making himself look like a fool in the process

(XD I love Virizzin) -Ackwardly enough the vixen's motherly touch caused him to obey more than he would have. If it were any other fox he kindly would have told them that he would manage. But there was something about Virizzin and her caring, motherly nature that he just could not say no to. Giving a good natured sigh he resumed his position of lying down- Yes ma'am. -The leader teased, he was glad she was happy with her new promotion of sorts. Tipping his head to the side his brow furrowed a bit- Alright. What would you like to talk about?

  • OOC: Just love how she rubs off on everyone. :D She's awesome like that.

IC: Fae would have normally been amused by the scene, but she was rather concerned when she saw Tyrone trip and the rabbit fly through the air. She gulped as the creature landed and her eyes went back to the tod, her paws shuffled on the ground and her legs and muscles twitched as they wanted to follow. But she knew she couldn't interfere. It was just not right, Tyrone still had a chance, she couldn't ruin it for him. As on cue, the tod resumed the chase. And he got the rabbit fairly easily that time around.
Fae stood back, a sigh raising and dropping her chest as a relieved chuckle escaped her. "Do you always put on a show?" She asked, her tone playful.

  •

Virrizin was silent, contemplating on what topic would be agreeable at the moment. "Well, it has come to my attention that this sulk is lacking one thing that I love to see: pups. I'm not complaining, spirits, I have no right to complain about my life at the moment, but it would be good for the sulk if we had more inborn members." she said smoothly. "A truly successful sulk, or any group for that matter, is one that has raised pups into fine members of their society. It would be ever so lovely if you had an heir. You could train him, or her, while you're still in the high prime of your life. You'd become a proud teacher, father. In my opinion, nothing is quite like being a parent."

The vixen let out a small chuckle and waved her paw around dismissively. Her eyes focused calmly on Zane. "Now, I'm not telling you to find a mate now. Take your time on that. My grandmum always told me that a strong, loving child is born to an equally loving pair." she explained. "It's just that.......well, I do really hope to be able to hear little paws scurrying around the camp. Hearing them giggle and play and make a racket. To some, it can be annoying. Oh, but I'd enjoy every second of it."

A somewhat wistful look flashed in Virrizin's eyes. She had once dreamed of being a mother, but that dream was put aside the moment she entered the sulk. In her own way, she already got her dream. Her sulk members, her new family, they were her children. She hoped she could live long enough to see them have their own spawn, so that she could babysit them and teach them what her old family once did. For the umpteenth time that day, a happy smile curved up her maw.

ooc: Really? Aw, shucks. Thanks. I love my character too.....WAIT.....I'm gonna let her die?!
*begins panicking* NO, no, no! I take it back! I want her to stay! To live!!! :o

(Lolz i'm glad you're keeping her XD) -Pups?! That had bee the last thing on his mind. Zanë could barely take care of himself, let alone a bunch of tiny pups who required endless attention. stieling a nervous laugh, the male felt his ears draw back ever so slightly- Yeah I suppose it would. However, i've never been good with pups. -He muttered sheepishly- But i'm sure there will be a couple who will provide the sulk with umm little ones.

With that single blemish upon beautiful amounts of flowers around her Lae kept returning to the flower finally her curiosity got the best of the doe and as soon as she put her nose to its dead petals the whole vision shattered in one violent crash like a mirror being shattered as it made a twinkling noise as it bounced off the ground though the shards were sharp and small.
    ~~

Waking up with a sudden intake of breath Lae blinked around with her two colored eyes shaken by the vision. Breathing in and out more like a pant than her normal breathing rhythm the white and black streaked female scurried out of her den not wanting to remember the violent dream that made fear course through her. Not looking up from her smaller paws made her way for the river. Maybe fishing my help ease her nerves.

Virrizin nodded. "Mm." she mused. "I certainly hope so." The vixen, without any warning, let out another chuckle. "I apologize for surprising you like that, Zane. The thought just came to me. And you very well know my fondness of offspring." Her eyes twinkled with amusement as she darted her gaze away from him. They locked onto the entrance of the camp. "Call it a weakness." she shrugged. "But something tells me I won't have to wait for too long now. Something good will happen. I can feel it in my paws." Her smile lessened as a cold wind swept through the camp. She returned her gaze to Zane and gently shook her head. "But a cold winter will settle soon. The forest is already trembling on the oncoming of snow. It will be harder to find prey soon and the berries will wither away..." she warned him softly, each word laced with a reassurance that signaled everything would be alright.

  • OOC: Just love how she rubs off on everyone. :D She's awesome like that.

((Yay!! I'm glad your keeping her! :D She brightens my day with her cheeriness ^^ Oh and speaking of pups, I was planning on bringing my pregnant vixen Trixy in here soon :D She's actually Tyrone's sister so it will be a bit of a reunion XD If anybody wants a pup let me know! :D I know you do Pickle ^^ Seeing as how I think Tyrone and Fae are gonna take it kinda slow and even when they do get together it's gonna be awhile till she has pups lol ))

He flattened his ears and flashed an embarrassed grin at her, shuffling his paws. "Heh, not every time, I guess you just bring it out in me." He chuckled. He picked up the rabbit and headed back her way, glad that ordeal was over.

  • "I like to think it's just friendly competition that brings it out in you. Me having anything to do with it would imply a certain kind of interest that I am not quite fond of." She winked at him and picked up her own rabbit. Fae was pleased with the hunt and in spite of the cold winter wind, she felt warm on the inside. Pushing Tyrone away should have come natural to her, but strangely enough, she found herself searching for smoother, softer ways of rejecting whatever early affection she was feeling, since the tod was the source of it, the object of her current state.

She pointed towards the camp and started padding towards it swiftly. She was starting to feel rather hungry.

  • He chuckled at her comment and shook his head, then bent down to pick up his rabbit kill and trotted after her. Unfortunately, their mouths being full made it to where it was hard for them to keep up a conversation. He decided to play with her another way. He raced forward till he was side by side with her and looked at her till she caught his look. He then wiggled his eyebrows at her.

  • Fae looked at him and rolled her eyes, laughing as she went and shoved him with her shoulder, picking up speed. He was quite the charmer, to say the very least and she was uncertain that she wanted to let him play with her mind like that. She had a reputation to live up to - the distant, level-headed fox she hoped everyone saw her as. Well, everyone but Virrizin who seemed to be able to see straight through her with no problems.
But Tyrone didn't know her that well. So there was still a chance she could maintain the illusion alive.
