  • My collar rubbed uncomfortably against my chest. It's been three moons (I'm eight moons old) since I was locked up as a kittypet. Unfortunately, my new Twolegs are worse then the first ones. Disgusting brown pellets, stale water. And plus, I have to wear the most uncomfortable, pink collar, and my new Twolegs have named me Fluffy. Fluffy! Really! Worse than my original name, Linda.
I sit on the fence outside the Twoleg nest. Grumpily, I rearange my collar to make it more comfortable. My old Twolegs didn't even make me wear a collar! NO such luck.
I look into the forest. I know that the many cat Clans are out their. I'm not instersted in joining any of them.
I jump off the fence, and start to head to the woods.

  • I crept along softly, keeping to the shadows and flinching at every noise. I had left Riverclan almost half a moon ago, and since then, my wild instincts had only grown sharper. It was harder on my own than I had anticipated, having to catch my own prey and not being able to store it. I was also always on the watch for other cats; I had decided after only a few days that any other cats were bad when you were a rogue.
But anything was better than Riverclan, I reminded myself as I prowled towards the Twoleg's buildings. Now I was free and didn't have to bend myself to those stiff Clan rules. And I never had to see--

I heard a noise, and quickly shrunk back into the nearest bush. Was another cat here?

  • I stopped in my tracks. I heard a rustle in the bushes, and I thought, Is this a cat worth killing? I ewnt on forward.................

  • I spotted a cat weaving through the undergrowth. It had a bright kitty pet collar on; that was the noise I had heard. I could tell that I couldn't try to escape without it seeing me, so I really had no other option-- and I was dying to pick a fight with something. So I launched myself out of the brush, aiming to land on this strange cat's shoulders with my claws extended.

  • I hissed. I saw another cat, by the smell, Clan cat. Excellent, I thought. Another person to kill. I unsheathed my claws

  • I landed squarely in front of the cat, fur bristling. I noticed that this kittypet had their claws out as if they were going to fight me. "Do you really think you stand a chance against me, kittypet?" I snarled.

  • I snarled. "Im no kittypet." I hissed. "I'm Linda, former rogue and killer of many, like the terrified Trollestia," I growled. "Unlessyou want to be shred to pieces, stay away..."

  • I eyed the kittypet up and down. "So you just wear a collar for fun?" I asked sarcastically. "Likely story. I am Rainstream, formerly of Riverclan. Warrior blood runs in my veins, kit. So maybe you should stay away!" I finished my monologue with a snarl.

  • I growled. "I may be a kit, and a kittypet, but im also former rogue, like I told you. If you dont believe me, youll find out the hard way."

  • I sighed, letting my fur fall flat and taking a step back. "Listen, I don't want to hurt you, so why don't we just act like his never happened, okay?" I asked.

  • I turned to walk away, but a nagging curiosity kept me. I turned back, meowing, "So, if your a rogue, why do you have a collar?"
