    Kat climbed a tree, searching for her sister, when she saw a girl walking out of the grocery store. She climbed down and silently followed her.

    Alex glanced to her side, her tattered clothes whipped her. She remembered what someone said to her. Dpn't trust anybody. She had held her hand as she died. Alexbbegan to run.

    Alex sat down, her eyeslooking toward the sky. Then when they rested on the girl, they were glowing red. A fire ring surrounded her, her blood bulged under her skin as scsles erected themselves. Slitting open her skin and layed themselves across her skin. Golden scales. Wings tore from her back, she arched and let out a menacing screech.
    (It's an illusion)

    She heard someone speaking. Better go check it out, she thought. She took her backpack off and hid it in an alleyway, then shifted into a pigeon.

    (wow. cool.)


    Kat saw this huge pigeon flying around. She didn't see anyone below her, so she called out her sisters name again. "Akira?"

    (Hey, can tyere b something off about her transformations? Like, a shade darker or her eyes lopside about the pigeon?)

    ooc: sure, what if her eyes were the same color in every form, even when it wasn't normally possible for that animal?

    (that sounds like a great idea, in my opinion.)


    Kat didn't see her sister, so she gave up and climbed back down the building. She started walking around, looking for someone.

    (Ok!)


    Alex hitched her collar up, her eyes darting from alley to alley, a scream pierced the air. She began to run..

    Kat heard the scream and she ran into a building. It was once a gas station, but now all of the things in it were gone. She jumped over the counter and ducked below it.

    Akira was walking down the street and she heard the scream, but what ever everyone screamed these days."

    Kat thought she saw someone that looked like her sister. She stood up, but found that it was just a girl with hair that was the same color as Akira's. Then, the girl saw her, and she motioned to three other teen age boys. She pointed to the window and the guys nodded their heads. They ran to the gas station and opened the door. Kat pressed herself to the opposite side of the counter, but it was no use. One kid went behind her and pulled her over the counter, throwing her on the floor. Kids had gone crazy. These ones obviously thought she had something she didn't.


    "Why did you kill him?!" The kid who threw her on the floor yelled.


    "What are you talking about? I never killed anyone!" Kat said.


    The really big guy kicked her in the ribs. "We know you did it!"

    "Hey, she didn't do anything." Akira said, walking into the store just as this all happened.
